I got some bad news. i was trying to update wheni got this message saying that my computer had been affected. I think my computer got infected with a virus, so i might have to restart this WHOLE thing over again...... I have tons of BATs that took my 3-4 years to find. this is a HUGE setback. i might get a new computer over the weekend. i was about to start show some crazy pictures......... i am not happy......... :angrymore:

well now here comes the task of redownloading stuff. but i don't know what download infected my computer......so in short, this MD may be put on hold..... It's just GREAT!

Sorry to hear about that GreekMan, it always stinks to have that happen. But a fresh start is always good, so I look forward to seeing more!

So you've downloaded a virus? Well, the best thing you can do is get a decent anti-virus program, and keep it updated. There are free versions available, as long as you know where to look. Having had a few problems in the past, I keep 2 AV programs on my computer, to make sure that every download is scanned thoroughly, and that nothing is missed. The ones I use are ThreatFire and AVG. Remember that you get what you pay for, so if you're using a free anti-virus, it's best to have a second program installed to do periodic sweeps, even if you don't have both of them running all the time.

Can't you backup your plugins folder on an external HD? Most of the time, viruses go hide in C:\Windows, your plugins should still be safe. Storing them elsewhere would save you the pain of redownloading everything, as well as making it so that you only have that folder to worry about and check for viruses. My two cents...

Anyway, good luck!  :)

By all means you can backup any of your data that you'd like. But I wouldn't try to open anything without scanning it with a decent AntiVirus first.

Ok so i thought i had a virus but it turned out to be a fake one. i got this screen from this Antivirus Line thing and i thought i had a virus. luckly for me it was a false thing that only wanted my money for antivirus protection. so in short, my computer is not in any kind of danger. on terms of this new update, welcome to the burbs!
BTW: some pictures are......well......just do stare at some of them.......

Thanks for everything and I hope you enjoyed this update!

Nice looking shots all around!  That last one is a bit surreal, it feels like I'm going to finish falling and hit the pavement there.

Update 4: Marina District
The Marina District is considered the inner-city of Arlington. It is a dense community full of apartment buildings and home to about 10,000 residents. Unfortunatly due to all the growth in the area, traffic has been a nightmare. Welcome to the Marina District!
