Ha ha! Don't worry about that, all the tweaking will only make the city better in the end, Jayson.  ;)

Great downtowns, guys!

I only built cities to test my remodded/relotted stuff for months, I broke my CD, stupidly deleted my old cities, and it took weeks to realise that my new copy is an LH version of the game - which made my RH NAM networks almost completely useless :D  But finally, I started playing 'real' again.

Downtown shots of Nagauli-Khelarun, an industrial city (117K I jobs), my concept is very simple here: concrete jungle, with as many bulky boxes, as possible, and no plops

My poor old looking Hilton Hotel, lost between the modern concrete & glass boxes  ::)

Nice collection of buildings Surrus-ginagi

I love the sculpting that people do with their cities.

I am thinking of starting a CJ, but first, I want to show some of the best pictures I have. Now, my pictures aren't of beautifully, prefectly sculpted cities, but one in which all of the cities in the region are on extremely tight budgets, with limited resources. Some cities are just a sprawling mass of low-wealth, medium highrise residential, and others are high-wealth, with medium density housing. I'll give you a few examples here, and hoepfulle get some feedback on whether or not it would be worth my time posting a CJ. But mostly, I want to try out this new MJ editor. I'll give two pictures, for now, of a city that is by far not nearly the most developed, nor even anywhere close to being the best pictures I have

1 more thing:

All of my cities have a rich history of periods of rapid growth, intersperced with major economic decline. I do have a TON of custom content in my plugins folder, but have not really used custom content very heavily throughout my city, due to the extremely limited funds.

Anyway, here we go:

A couple of teasers of South Williamsport. This is the "redlight" district of the region. It is a city that is traditionally known as the Las Vegas, or Atlantic City of the region.

Photo number 1 is a wide-area shot, looking directly south. Williamsport, which is to the north of South Side, is on the other side of the river at bottom, where the bridge connects the two cities, making it the only connection across the bay from the buisness district. There are three other cities that are "stranded" from the mainland along with South Side.

Second photo of south side, is the sports complex.

Lemme know if anyone is interested in seing me start a CJ, and explaining a history of my cities, the drama, the ecomic ups and downs, and so forth. I have a total of  13 or 14 or so cities, with Williamsport to be the main business district, and Duboisetown as a high-density residential urban jungle, Loyalsock, East Beach, and 1 other city as the touristy beach-type cities, and 1 industrial powerhouse. Can't think of the name I gave that city off the top of my head.

It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

This is on the edge of Williamsport's downtown. Williamsport is the main CBD of the region. I like playing a city with realism. This is reminscent of many of the major east-coast American cities, with all of the problems associated, including limited funds. The city has to strike a balance between good, expensive amenities, and turning a profit from taxes.
