Absolutely gorgeous Andreas! I can't wait as I have an obsession with both the SFBT catenaries and smooth rail curves. $%Grinno$%

Looking amazing as ever!  This could very well become the next version of the BTM!  I'm loving all the pics!   &apls

These look really great. It's little things like this that make the game more realistic.

In the UK, it's rare to fine centenaries on general rail (in fact I have never seen it), but I have seen it on things such as the CTRL (Channel Tunnel Rail Link) and the Tramlink services, so at least for me, I would really like to see GLR, T-RAM, and HSR have catenaries  :).

Below are some examples of british catenaries that I have taken on my travels:

Croydon Tramlink

CTRL

Why does one park on a driveway, and drive on a parkway?

Yeah I would also want to have such things on tram/glr/hsr lines!

I always want to have tram catenaries on my GLR. There's no GLR track in the Netherlands without rail catenaries.

Well If you want to code them plunderer. I can deliver you some fine (european) GLR cateneries.  ;)

Looks great but I think the "main support" should be higher because it looks like the catenery is going to collapse.

Right I see, maybe this topic could get stickied that way the pictures are at the top of each page?
Much better than the SD ones!

I used to live near Croydon and can just remember the Tramlink being built. I used to love going on it to 'nowhere' when I was about 5.

True true, how about this?

I shall add a light to it for night textures and maybe someone can attach a light cone effect to it that would be great.

Great looking development here guys. I like the idea of these catenaries a lot, because it makes the GLR so much more realistic

Thanks.  :)

Another common style used in Europe (Rotterdam for example):

Also possible in other versions (2 outside or 2 inside cable holders) or in single version for the turning loop or single track.  ;)
