Matt325:

Is Frogfaces' Administration and Records Building available to download anywhere?

Thanks.

Yes it is rather cold here and an empty beach is only available in the midst of a winterstorm in Holland, I am rather jealous now.

Short but great update.

UPDATE. THE WATERWAYS OF SHOZALOSA

I realise I haven't updated for quite some time, but I haven't abandoned this project. The population is approaching 650K (I have played this map some more since taking the below picture) and not all tiles have been developed (most are still empty as you can see)

Mona Vale as you can see has a huge commercial and residential population along the valley floor.

This development is spilling over into neighbouring Balmoral which, on the smallest point next to Mona Vale has seen residential towers spring up:

Next to Balmoral is Newport; pristine and light density:

And finally Hunters Hill itself:

In the main; the tile of Mona Vale is far and away the largest employment tile on the map – many of the Sims on the above tiles commute by ferry or road back to Mona Vale for work. But Hunters Hill, pleasantly situated on the water, is also becoming an employment hub given that it is right next to the industrial Galston tile.

For this update, I'll show some additional shots around Hunters Hill.

Fishing pier:

Cruise Ship port:

Church and State side by side. The Rector (he, he, he  :D ) would be pleased:

Here on the point, the exclusive Four Seasons Department store looks across to the temple of the Goddess. Expensive shopping and a benevolent deity: could you ask for more? $%Grinno$%

Terrace Housing approaching the city centre:

The housing becomes more and more dense towards the city's core. A mini minor zooms past jen_p's London Terraces  ()stsfd():

The old and the new jostle for space:

With water views being scarce in Shosaloza, seemingly every point on the peninsula is crowded with high rise development.

The drive for height and water views have even led some developers to build over roads:

Commercial Services Demand is high in Hunters Hill: this is the first time I've ever had this building grow:

Some of the schools of the area:

The mayor's office:

Perfect spot for an office don't you think?

Thanks all for viewing  :)

Lovely pics, Matt. The views from the penthouses must be spectacular.

The region view is quite spectacular with all the colors of the trees and this very densly packed city in the valley. Some very nice images from Mona Vale, very well done this city with all the different bats ranging from rowhouses to the tall skyscrapers.

You've got an extremely well chosen plugins folder there. Everything fits together so well.
My MD: Jen's random cities...  ...Also, check out my creations on the LEX...

Wow, those are some great looking cities.  I like your use of seasonal trees.  And your selection of towers (and other buildings) is amazing.

[rooker1: the cycledogg houses are a work-in-progress.  They will be released in bits and pieces when the bits and pieces are done.  The small low-wealth houses are already on the LEX.  A large set of medium wealth houses will be next (probably within the next month.)]
