TopCliff:  Thanks!  It's funny that of all the universities I did look at and pull inspiration from, Fordham was never one of them.  I never even thought to look at it for some reason.  Now I'll have to go do that.  The mess hall is actually in with the student and athletic center a few pages back.  (For now)

Duane:  Thank you!  Happy Gnu Year to you as well.

I lied earlier about what I had left.  I forgot all about the library.  So now that's done too.  Here's a quick peek at that one...

Now I can go start on the main classroom buildings...  :D

Maybe more later,
JB

I like the brick choice. It's dark, depressing, and possibly claustrophobic. Reminds me of Harvard.  :P I can actually see that library working as a standalone too. For some *cough*Smalltown*cough* somewhere in the USA.  :P

Looks awesome JB.Maybe it will be done by Valentines day.

Back to europe ;D

TopCliff:  Thanks!  I wasn't really going for "depressing," but I'm glad you like it either way.  :D  I can see a lot of these as stand alone, really... I'm sure that will happen with a few of them.

Bluebeard:  Thank you!  Valentine's Day would be nice... but I'm going to shoot for March right now.  It will be a nice surprise if I'm early that way.  ;D

Fukuda:  Thanks!  And welcome to the thread!

I love being on vacation... I'm not sure if I mentioned that or not.  Sure it's cold and we got around 9 inches or more of snow in the last two days, but look how much I can accomplish when people aren't calling me every 5 minutes!  :D  I got two of the trigger buildings lotted... that leaves one to go!  Here's a look:

Fuhrmann Academic Center - 7x3

Olson Academic Center - 5x4

The Conger Acadmeic Center may be finished before the day's over... it really depends on if I have to export again or not.  I'll find out fairly soon...

Dude, that first building is almost an exact replica of the main building at Fordham. Let's see if I can find a picture. Oh, and, uh, I'll take that fifty bucks considering I was your name consultant for *cough* one of your *cough* most famous projects. *cough*  :P

Ooh, great job on the buildings! The Olson Academic Center would look great as a courthouse and the library would look good as a city hall.

I also like the quads, reminds me of the typical open spaces in universities that have a zillion pathways going every which way. :D

Thanx JB.
March sounds good it will be worth the wait.

What else can I say besides excellently done? The dorms look great and so do the main buildings. For some reason though, the big round bushes at the back stairs of the Fuhrmann Academic Center look a bit plain/out of place on their own (hope that made sense). Have you tried continuing the bushes from the back wall to the end of the stairs? Aside from that, everything looks great. As usual, I'll be looking forward to more.

Wonderful work Jon &apls

The lots are very nice. It will be great fun to puzzle them into a great campus. You have outshone the original maxis campus threefold if not more!

And I actualy like those buildings so it is a heartfelt compliment my friend ;D

TopCliff:  Your check is in the mail to... um... some address.  I hope it was yours!  The Fuhrmann (first building) is actually a combination of Marygrove in Detroit and a building I saw in movie (it's somewhere in Virginia, but I haven't been able to find the school yet).  The Olson (second building) is based on the original city hall in Saginaw, MI which burned down many moons ago.

John:  Thanks!  I'm thinking about giving the Olson another set of textures and making a city hall with it eventually.

Bluebeard:  Thanks for your patience!  ;)

Matt:  Thank you!  I changed the white flowering bushes to an evergreen instead.  I had tried continuing the shrubs, but they really don't fit well... I'm still tweaking that one, so I may find something that works yet.

XiahouDun:  I really like that central tower.  Thanks for posting that!

Tag One:  Thank you!

Strech:  Thanks!  I always liked the Maxis university too... I just hated the scale and the fact that you couldn't really do much with it.

Robin:  Thank you!

Well, I'm still tweaking a couple things... flowers mostly... and trying to find some other flora that is a little more subtle.  So some of these lots may have some minor changes, but nothing too huge.  In the meantime, here is the last one!

Also, just to prove that I hid the path as well as I could, even when the trees are bare...

That's about it for now,
JB

Interesting building. Is that some sort of old observatory on the roof? Anyways, thanks for the check. You know what, I will find a good picture of the main building at Fordham. You'll see.  ;)
