Dell Computer Plant oddity

I was surveying a city I had built and saw this lot:



You can see the "mouseover info" in the pic.

I have the lot loaded.. and it looks very nice as a plop (shown here)



If anyone has any idea about what's going on, please help me out. If you need me to gather any info, just ask.

Hmm that happens to me on some lots I downloaded from Japanese websites (I know it happens on the Shiodome Media Tower lot), I think its caused by incorrect modding but I dont know how to fix it, but id like to know if anyone else can because I sometimes get whole blocks of empty lots

Also before you ask, yes I do have all the dependencies because I can build the ploppables from the landmark menu and they look fine

The Dell plant is one of the lots listed as causing a problem and has been withdrawn by bobbo662 for that reason.

Is this one the same problem? I note that all are adjacent to/overlap (when they grow) the GLR lots. This was also true on the Dell lot.



I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that is supposed to be Simgoobers Coral Resorts Hotel. If I can get more info I will.. I  only just saw the above messages and have not read the other threads yet. I had read that thread before, but did not pay much attention to it as I'd never had the problem. Truthfully I would not have recognised it this time either since they don't look like "empty lots"   To me they are characterised as "wrong sized" lots.. but whatever.. if that's the problem I'm glad we know a solution.

I"ve never had this problem pop up before, but this is the first region I've built with any significant GLR

One fast way to see if a new download has the Empty lot syndrom is if you have the Extra Cheats Dll and when you pick building plop and if there are more lots besides your new item and if you click and plop one of the lots you will see the odd lots. Hows that for a run on sentence!

I never bothered with the cheat as it offers nothing I see at this point as being desirable to me. I've read about it and that's about it..

It is also referenced in ripplejet's list.

In both of those cases, I have growables (as well as landmarks). I notice RJ's list only says "ploppables".  Is the plop-able the one at fault or both? I will have to go through RJ's list and see what I do and don't have. Do you know if a cleanitol file exists for them?

Currently there is no Cleanitol file available but if you are volunteering
It is only the ploppables that cause the problems.
