I have downloaede quite a few buildings now (half of them appear as boxes!) and for some reason the lights of the buildings never work. This happens to all of the buildings I download help please!


P.S. For real though whats up with all the boxes over my buildings?!

The boxes are like little presents that only people that actually READ the ReadMe file included with that lot can open.  :D
Most all lots, whether from the LEX or elsewhere, come with some sort of a ReadMe file, which can help you see the lot as it's designer intended (with all of the buildings, trees, rocks, etc).

As for night lights, you'll need to register your game with Maxis, and update it in order to see custom lighting.
