SC4 Picture Competition

Cockatoo: If it wasn't for the highway/ave transition before the underpass, you would have had my vote.  It just doesn't look right to me to see a highway lose a lane in each direction for a underpass and gain it again.  I understand WHY you did it that way, but in a picture competition, it just doesn't do justice for me. Sorry.

Rooker1 gets my vote.  An awesome dirty garbage port, something you don't see every day.  Well done!

Cockatoo, I would have used the NAM on-slope pieces for that avenue overcrossing, plus the bridge scenery markups that can be found. It would have looked much better.

Still, this is a close one. The trees in Cockatoo's are just brilliant, but the dump is pretty awesome too.

I'll go for Rooker to make it:

Cockatoo's pic is nice. I like that both roads dip for the crossing. It may not be the most efficient in terms of construction, but I like the effect. The photoshopping is nice too. Rooker's pic is a great junkyard scene. I like the flow of it all: the railyards to the road (street) that leads to the port. It's a good setup and must serve a large area judging from all of the garbage trucks lining the road. I think my vote this round will go to rooker.

Cockatoo, great composition and even though I am NOT a fan of photoshopped pictures (most of them are overdone) I must say that I don't like that avenue crossing at all!

You go down with one avenue to the level of the other avenue, which you let go down even more instead of using the natural height difference with a NAM overpass like the others said ...

I might be a hopeless nitpicker when it comes to slopes and sloped traffic routes of all kinds but this I don't like ...

That's why I stay with Robin (rooker1)

the overpass doesnt make sence without the slope pieces, but its so beautifull this way and i am not sure if it would look really better with the slopes

Rooker for me. The editing of Cockatoos picture is amazing, but the railwork on Rooker's lots are even better.

Cockatoo, that is a great pic, but there is just something about that overpass that doesn't look right.

My vote goes to Rooker (a bit late, but congrats on the win  ). Nothing like a bit of dirt every now and again. The docks and rail look great.
