Your region is unique, even for desert regions which are rare in themselves, but yours stands out. Some of it is the type of buildings you use, especially for residential. Even more is your sense of space and placement, like how you sprinkle trees and bushes around in just the right quantities. Your attention to detail is inspiring. I am sure you will bring back more ideas from your trip...we'll be waiting.  :)

I just found out about your MD. Beautiful!
Don't have the time now to comment extensively, but the pictures I saw are really great.
Very coherent styles of your lots and buildings.

Reply 301!

I look forward to the developments.

UPDATE TWENTY-FOUR
DEVELOPMENT AROUND FURSAN

With the increase in official diplomatic visits, as well as business trips by potential foreign investors, the QEC have constructed the first 5-Star hotel within Qumma: The Qumma Royal Palace Hotel.

Fully equipped with 250 rooms, including Junior, Executive, and Presidential Suites, the hotel has become the latest Qumman landmark, costing almost $65 million upon completion, making it the single largest commercial investment ever in Qumma.

Only the finest has been equipped in the hotel; the rooms are grand, the lobby is exquisite, and there are 4 fantastic restaurants to choose from. In addition, there is an underground swimming pool, or if one prefers to bask in the sun, a private beach just across the street from the hotel. Also available is a state-of-the-art spa, as well as 3 large conference room capable of holding up to 100 people at a time.

Fully owned by the QEC, it has been contracted to local upstart hotelier company for management called Burani Hoteliers, who are also in charge of managing 2 smaller inns in Fursan. It is situated just south of Presidential Lane, bordering Berber Dawa's private residence.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another first in Fursan is the first ever planned residential development: The Pines Residence. Developed by the Neumann Group of the Liberty Islands, with a residential theme based on English/Northeastern US architecture, the Pines Residence houses up to 3,000 people.

Upon completion, the project had cost the Neumann Group $8 million, with 80 townhouses up for sale for $200,000 each. There are also 4 community pools, 3 tennis courts, and 3 basketball courts. With 24 hour security, garbage service, and wireless internet and satellite services, the Pines Residence has sold out already, being especially popular with expatriates who have made a home in Fursan.
Situated just north of the current town of Fursan, the development has been deemed a huge success by the Neumann Group, and talks are already on the way with the QEC in order to gain land for a 2nd development.

Finally, Dawa Avenue has been seeing a lot of activity lately, with buildings coming up, and buildings under construction. We will leave you with a couple of pictures highlighting the commercial center of Fursan.

It's always nice to see a new update from you and this one is no exception.  The last picture is awesome and could win a few rounds in the SC4 Picture Competition.  The Pines Residential looks great as well, but I think there is too much parking, for my tastes at least.  I hope to see another update soon.

Ok there are two images that stand out...the beach and the final shot. Truly fabulous!

Another great update. Fursan is getting more and more developed and colorful.

It's always a pleasure to stop in here ad see an update! Always a pleasure! Everything looks just perfect, every single time! Keep up the wonderful work, nedalezz! You can count on me being around for more!

paroch

Great update there Nedalezz.  The Pines is a different look for Qumma.  I'd be interested to see where it fits into the region shot.

And Dawa Avenue is looking fantastic.

Jmouse

I wouldn't mind spending a few days in that gorgeous hotel!
Like many other readers, I really like the last overview shot, but you've captured my heart with the night shot as usual! ;)

Until next time...

UPDATE TWENTY-FOUR
8 YEARS IN

In honor of our dear friend (and avid Qumma commentator) Jmouse, this entire update will feature nightshots! Not much in the way of storyline updates, although there has been a couple of buildings highlighted for your entertainment. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy as Qumma and Fursan stroll into the 8th Year, and check the mini-mosaic of Fursan at the end!

Love the Nite shots there Nedalezz and a wonderful update as a whole!!!

Don't forget the SC4D Podcast is back and live on Saturdays @ 12 noon CST!! -- The Podcast soon to Return Here Linkie

Yoman

Oh no! I missed an update. Sorry about that.

But what I see here makes up for it. Those nightshots are incredible, some of the best I've ever seen. Especially that last one, with the sprawling development and the brightly lit towers just shooting up into the night, must be an incredible view from the sea.

Speaking of which, all that stuff is near complete, just textures on the large crane and you'll be all set to go. And special textures for the Qumman bulk cranes as I feel I need to make up for the delays. What colors would you prefer? (note that the normal one is just a ton of rust :P).

thundercrack83

Qumma looks just as stunning at night, my friend! The medical school and the Newmann Group Building, everything looks fantastic! I'll be looking forward to your next update!
