I'm a little new to this. I've had success installing many buildings from Simtropolis, but I find myself more and more drawn to the sets I'm finding here.

My first attempt is at the SNM MAAM Parks set (air museum).  I got all the dependency files I could find and then installed the park set.  I started the game, but there was nothing new in the parks section (or monuments or rewards sections for that matter).  After that, I found another HTML page with functional links to the two dependency files I couldn't find before and so I added them.

It's not an issue of it working properly.  The park pieces simply aren't in the game.  (1) It doesn't matter that I got all the pieces together in a haphazard fashion, does it?

Here's a quote from the readme: "Each park features a WW2 plane and will fit into the BSC Park System."  (2) Is there some overall framework that I have to have in place in order to use the "BSC Park System"?  Again, I installed all the files from the dependencies list.

(3) I'd appreciate any and all help.

Cheers

Pat

HI Bobbygraves,
Welcome to Devotions and if I am understanding this right is you have the set but its not showing up anywhere in the menu's... It should be in the parks menu as what the readme says...  Did you let the installer do its thing or did you change the instalation path by a chance??? you do have all these dependency's correct?

Is there any way to remove my own posts?  I'm embarrassed at my own stupidity.  I was so focused on dependencies, I neglected to install the main park file (even though I marked it down that I had).

What can I say?  I'm old and my synapses are drying up.

Cheers

Don't worry about it, bobbygraves. We all, and I mean all ;D, have lapses of intelligence. I have been known to forget to put a model file in when testing something and of course I am presented with a large brown box. Just don't tell anyone else or my reputation will be shot. $%Grinno$% ::)

Like I always say...
