Hi
I just dl Install_CAM_CS and it contains lots linking to building that I already have from the CAM CO pack. Like the NDEX Diamond Financial Center and DT Andover Tower. Is this by design?

Also when I dl dependencies what do I need to keep? just the model file or do I need to keep the desc as well?

Thanks

You only need to keep the model files. Also, because the central CAM installer (the actual mod) does not actually have any separate buildings, they released those packs for more variety. Those packs aren't actually needed, however.

Keep the Model Files from the downloads that you get from the STEX (like NDEX buildings). And keep all the lots from the CAM packs, the reason is that there is both a Commercial Service and a Commercial Office version of the same model.

At least I think that's right, and I have had no problems so far.

so the same building can grow as CO or CS or even R?

All depends on how the lot was designed, but usually yes. Buildings can have multiple purposes in game. Though the original creator may have one intention for their building, someone else can lot it differently to make it suit another RCI type.
If you're having troubles gathering the dependencies, check the link in my signature and let Cleanitol do the work for you.
