We all know and love the street tree mods, like Jeronij's and Andreas's.
We also all know and love the seasonal trees, there are several out there, eg PEG's and Cycledogs.

This is my request:
I'd LOVE to see a seasonal tree mod! I think it would have a very nice impact on a city, and give the whole city more of a seasonal feeling to it :)

What do you think? :)

Andreas

Well, I'm "planning" a seasonal street tree mod since a long time (actually since I made my "regular" street tree mod), but I'd like to make it modular as well, so you can use different seasonal tree styles. However, that has proven rather difficult, since you can't use prop families with seasonal trees (well, you probably can, but it would look strange if a summer oak changes to a fall cottonwood). There is a seasonal street tree mod for rural dirt streets available at ST, but it only uses Cycledogg's trees. If you don't need more modularity, I could whip up something one day, but it's not very high on my priority list, and I can only spend a limited time on T21 exemplar files in one session before I have to put them away for a while since they are so tedious to create.

Andreas, thanks for your quick reply (as always) :)

Personally I don't need modularity (in fact, I only use cycledogs & maxis decidious trees in your street tree mod), so personally I'd be very happy with anything whip-upable.

Although I'm also curious what other people think.
I'm guessing the street tree mod is one of those mods nearly everyone uses, and the seasonal angle is one of the few things missing from that mod. Apart from that, I think, it's very complete.

Is it actually possible for T21 props to change like that without redrawing or clicking nearby?

Travis

In fact, I've had the idea in my head to go and replace all the trees on the original maxis low-density residentials with CP's seasonals for some time now, but, similiar to Andreas, it's not high on my priority list at the moment. I very well might get to it this summer though. :)
