Every building has the option to be historical. Beside the fact that the building will stay there forever is there anything else? Do they still pay taxes?

On my rails i only have a little green wagon i wonder when trains will start to show up.

In my experience, "historical" means that a building won't be replaced with another one of a higher growth stage or wealth level. They continue to function as normal, providing commuters or jobs, paying taxes, etc.

You have to have rail stations and freight or passenger traffic to have trains show up. If you do have those things and still no trains, let us know what plugins you are using that affect the Commute Engine (NAM, primarily) and if you have any automata replacements for the standard trains.

I hope this helps!
