News:

The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

Sooner or later, nearly everyone faces the dilemma of where to post that query about an errant download or lot. So we go off, shooting in the dark. Would it not be a good idea to have a Who's Who posted right on the front page of SC4Dev? Teams could list their members there, with links to their respective threads, support or otherwise; kind of: Team -> Member -> Support Thread -> MD -> Other forii stuff.

This way we won't be bothering XXDITA  $%Grinno$% when in fact we ought to have gone and nailed it at the source..

Simply look at the LEX upload and you will see who created it...or check the readme that came with it.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

Wish it was always that easy. A list of who belongs to wich team would simply help navigating to the right place. And make live a lot easier.

The majority of uploaders to the LEX are active participants here at SC4D, so you would only need to use the Member Search in the forums to find them. By pulling up their profile, you can view their signature, which will likely have a link to their thread. And if not, then try looking at their recent posts, as one of those should show their work.

Of course, all these things are possible. But round-about when compared to each team posting a list of their members. Maybe even include such niceties as when BSC-Custodian seems to now take care of Marrast stuff.

But, lest I seem to be belabouring stuff, I guess we'll put it to rest.
