I am apparently missing dependencies for the following buildings:

     Dave and Busters
     Chuck E. Cheese
     Cafe du Lac

     Union Row

I'm beginning to feel like a pest, can't find this, can't find that....

Hi Annie its no problem at all but one thing would help is pictures of what you are missing... In the mean time I suggest you download this here [linkie]  that will reduce those boxes to simple little flags...

Heh, pictures of brown boxes probably wouldn't help much. I think we all know what they look like.
Annie, it sounds like you're missing some SimGoober models, which is just sacrilege.  $%Grinno$%

The Cafe du Lac isn't a Goober lot but one of mine and I really would appreciate a picture to see if I can work out what you are missing. The OOPS file from Peg's that Pat gave the link for is very useful as it locates the missing model without the brown box so it easier to see.
Union Row is not a name that I immediately recognise so a picture of that would help too.
Inside every old person is a young person wondering what happened. TP

Ok Lady and Gentlemen, I have taken the pictures of the OOPs spots, and now I have one BIG question!  How do I send them on to you all?  I have never uploaded pictures from the game...in fact I never take any, so I'm a total ignoramous at this end of it all.  Help, I need sombody....etc.

Pat

its ok Celtic do you have any programs to edit pictures at all? if not I recomend this photofiltre [linkie] and then adjust the pic size to 800 * 600 and save as jpeg... then you will need either photobucket account or imageshack account to upload the pics here is a mini tut on how to do so on either or...

Just use the one for direct link to image....

like soo

copy the link and then do this one like soo, click on the insert image tag

and then this one you should now see the IMG tags and just place the code in there... just right click and paste in the brackets

so now it should look like this....

I hope that helps further...

Pat, thanks for the instructions, however, I have no idea as to how to get to the pictures in the first place.  &mmm  I have PSPX on my computer, and know how to use it, but the problem is getting to the pics in the game.  I can find no place that allows me to export those pics to another program, so I am totally lost.  Any help would be appreciated.

I folks........In the past all i have done to take a pic of something in the game is...............Hit the "Print Screen" button on the Keyboard.

Now there is No indication that this does anything trust me it does.... close the game. {you only get one at a time it over writes it every time}

Open the programe of your choice....Image editor..{i use Gimp} right click and "paste" there it is  your screen shot.

Not trying to confuse anyone here just putting this out there. As once you hit the "print Screen " button on your Keyboard The entire Screen is captured to your Clipboard, bear in mind this is a BIG file but if you Save it as a JPEG the file size is acceptable.  Depending on your Screen resolution that would be the size of the pic so you may need to resize it accordingly.

Then upload Away.{as noted by pat in that excellent post!!!!)

PS. if you just meant that you couldn't find where the game saves the pics you take, then they are  located here  ...    \Documents\SimCity 4\Albums     ,in folders that correspond to the region name. OR where ever your "my documents" folder is.

Pat

Hey Celtic,

what you can do to take ingame pics the easy way is on the key board hit Ctrl + Shift + S will take a pic of the area you are looking at....  You can do that multiply times without having to quit and save the game...

After you taken all the pics you want then quit and save and then you need to go into My Doc SimCity4 folder then into album's just look for the city name where you was taking pictures and then all the pics you just took will be in that folder....

I hope that helps out some more....  Again dont worry about any dumb questions at all I will do my best to help you threw it or someone else will do the same  ;)

I use Gadwin Print Screen for all screen captures.
It saves the pics automatically in the file format and compression that you choose, with all of your screenies going to the same folder.
