SIEDLINGHAUSEN

The overview of the region; "Siedlinghausen" is east of "Bödefeld"

The entrance from "Bödefeld" into "Siedlinghausen by B740

Some fields just north of the village of "Siedlinghausen"

Again a pic to compare to the realworld.. Nice; the sun shining over the valleys & hills!

View from the north, the roads takes some spins before it tumbles down into the valley..

The hairpin-bend from another view-angle

Overview of the twists and turns of the B740 as it comes into the village

Next update we'll close up more into the village..

More beautiful work, my friend! Siedlinghausen is just another in long line of outstanding places you've presented to us here! The mountains and the roads that traverse them--just excellent work!

Keep it up!

Ennedi

Wow, ejc, you show really beautiful places!

I would love to ride (not very fast to be able to look around) along such road as on your pictures (both RL one and these from SC4  :))
I will remember about this area when I will go to Germany...

Great job on that hairpin road, EJC!   &apls  Looks like the perfect spot for a scenic overlook...  ;)  I really enjoy your overview pictures.  They look so simple at first.  But the longer I look, the more I see.  All the details and the finishing work you must put in really shine.

SIEDLINGHAUSEN CLOSE

By the way; you should "Google Earth" the areas! For example; "Bödefeld, NRW" or "Siedlinghausen, NRW" <- search these terms in "Google Earth" and see the likeness. You can clearly see the hairpinbend west of the village and also it's surrounding farmlands. The railline that crosses the valley.. etc etc..

The overview from over the hills. Notice on the left the hairpin-road..

The overview of the village small center and surrounding roads.

The central parts of the village, with church and old buildings surrounding it.

Another overview, now from the north-east showing point

The entire village that's following the small streams in the valley..

Next update we'll exit the village of "Siedlinghausen" by road and we'll take a little tour on it's surroundings

That are some new beautiful pictures there! And your "Siedlinghausen" is looking very nice.

This is an awesome pic, I love it.  So realistic and life like.  Can you imagine this pic with David's new FARR pieces?  Either way, it's still an incredilbe pic.

Hi ejc,

wow, two great updates.  The terrain mod you're using just seems so very appropriate for the area you are depicting - great choice.  I really like the way the road slides down the side of the hill into the village with the stream.

Great stuff and I look forward to more.

A few times I was convince I was looking at real picture from the Sauerland instead of looking at a sim-city game photo. Your delivering outstanding quality here. :satisfied:

SIEDLINGHAUSEN <-> SILBACH

Today a small update. I'll highlight the road between the two vilages mentioned in the post-title..

Housing and warehousing are mixed together on this road..

Just west of the main road, hidden in the forest.. Is a "bergsee" (mountainlake)

The ingame version made by me.. Plopable water and some rock surfaces!

Next update, to end the month a nice update on the surroundings of "Silbach" and "Siedlinghausen"
