Paroch: It's a nice arrangement that really centers on the canal(and TTC's boats), and the development around it all keeps in the same style, even if some of the buildings repeat a few times.  On the whole not bad.

Kitsune:  The impression that construction is going on is definitely there, but the lots aren't extremely convincing.  Given that making a believable construction area is not easy, that's fairly forgivable, but it doesn't make for a 'great' pic.  Also, for all the highrises cramped in there, there doesn't seem to be much parking...

I'll go with Paroch on this one:

Paroch - 9
Kitsune - 1

Its underground parking  ;)

Bringing the pics over:

paroch: Houseboats on Herrengracht

Kitsune: High Speed comes to Turion

Though I really like the canals (and TTC's boats fit perfectly there... well they should as it's what they were designed for) and the whole area or paroch's pic in general, there is something about Kitsune's construction pic that really looks good. I think it would have been good to see some fences placed aroudn the border of the construction area, but I do like the pic.

Everything looks good to me. Don't worry too much about the mix up, it can happen, and thanks for coming back to clear it up and put in your vote.

Tough choice but I love the Dutch canal scene - reminds me of when I was a regular visitor and Heineken drinker!  My vote goes to paroch.

paroch 1-1 threestooges

6-1 paroch

Parochs picture of Herrengracht shows fine dutch architecture along the canal. I like his city planning.
Threestooges picture is very inspiring, the plopable water and curvy roads are very well planned, however I personally think that the covered bridge takes away a bit of the realism from the shot...
It's a though decision, but i'm going to vote for... Paroch

Paroch - 7
Threestooges - 1

And for those who wanted to know what the white line was in between the forest and fields of my picture of 'Forest's End' - it is lorries on the country road - not a train.
