Tabi-san those aircraft look awesome! Is there any chance you could do some of your aircraft with jetways attached? This is because LOTting is very hard if the jetway and plane are separate props.

I probably shouldn't post here as I don't have an airport to show, but it seems most people here use the custom airports. I'd like to start using these lots, but there only on the STEX which is unavailable atm, so what's the person's username who uploaded them? So I can find them on the stexserver.com.
Also where do you get the terminals and planes from? And is there a guide to making custom airports somewhere?

The runways, taxiways, planestands, etc. is Voltaire's RMIP package, while the terminals are from ace_bovenopdeberg's add-on or the ACE-VLT "Terminals and Jets"-series. The planes are lotted with Tabi's and Kumba's props (available on the LEX, as well as their respective sites).

Texturing the plane stand is the hard part; however, there is a workaround by placing the gate in the landmark occupant group in the Reader, but I can't remember the thread where this was posted. I am in the process of lotting the custom aircraft props (or most of them), with all the problems that causes, but until next Friday I can only work sporadically, if at all on them, so you'll either have to do it yourself, or wait a bit (and there's always the CRJs and 747s available from ACE-VLT).

wow tabi-san. I love your aircrafts. And I used some of your props in my airport I gonna post in here:

Ko Wan Island Int. Airport

It's the airport on Ko Wan, an island I'll probably add to my CJ (Kaibesia in ST), but it isn't added yet. So you will see exclusive stuff that may be published in my CJ as well.

Short information:
Ko Wan isn't a hub airport and there is no homecarrier. Most common aeroplane types are B737, B747, A340, MD-11. B737 come from Kaibesia's airports, which are quite close (under 1 hour flight time). The long haul planes come from far destinations, mainly Asian (such as Singapore Airlines, ANA, Thai Airways, etc.)
So the passenger sector is one basis of the airport. The other one is the cargo business, mainly the cheap landing taxes. So Cargo Ailines such as UPS or FedEx stop here to refill their planes.

Here you can see an overview shot of the airport. The runway is just long enough to handle B 747, but not more! The approach area is in the upper right of the picture. The runway itself ends in the sea with a u-turn before ending.


This is the passenger terminal. It has a total of 4 jetway gates. The total gate number is 8 (4 jetway and 4 bus gates). 3 out of 4 jetway gates can handle wide-bodies, the bus gates any aircraft type.

As said above the cargo is second basis of the airport. And one can say it's quite important. The size of the cargo terminal compared to the passenger terminal tells you everything:

Hi,

I want to show you my Airport: Harlin International Airport.

The Airport has 2 Runways and 2 Terminals.
I´ve already built a 3 Runway, but i didn´t make photos. I will show the finished Airport here and in my MD.

Another question, sorry this is the last time. (=> is connect)

Runway => Taxi thing => Gate => Jetway (?, the "arm" that goes to plane door) => Concourse  => Terminal ?
And what is an Apron for?

Yeah, if by gate you mean plane stand. A gate is just the area that connects the plane and the terminal (or concourse/pier), either by just a door to the ramp, a bus, or an air bridge (jetway). The apron is here all other areas that's not used for take-offs/landings, taxiing and loading/unloading (such as in front of the fuel farm, the hangars, etc.).
