SC4 Picture Competition

I thought I'd never do this, but I cannot resist - here's my, eh, challenge (if I did something against the rules here, just discard the entry)

Hi Hands On - nothing against the rules at all. Arguably it is good form to bring the two pics together, as Earthquake's pic is a long way up - but that is hardly an offence 

So here is EarthQuake's pic - which has already won two rounds:



And I must be getting boring, but seeing as EarthQuake's pic breaks the rules (it is too big - 724 pixels is the max heing - this is 819 pixels) I vote for Hands On which has a nice feel to it.

Hands On - The diagonal homes are on a diagonal road. A nice little park near the water's edge looks very real. Some corner shops near the river and ... gee ... what more do you need to want to live in that neighborhood? Hands on gets my vote.

The other photo is ok as far as art content goes but I can't see any of details other than to see that the diagonal homes are along a straight road - so that is a minus there. Another minus is that the picture is larger than the rules allow

This round my vote goes to HandsOn. Th ediagonals are well used and, aside from the dock sitting perhaps a bit high, the pic is very well done all around. Again, the UDI icon in EarthQuake's pic takes it down a bit for me.

Hello All,

Yes EQ's pic is too big. 
Myself and Masochist (along with a few other moderators) usually fix the size of people's pics and believe me when I tell you, I fix alot of them.  The official size is 1024 x 768, see rules at top of page. 
As for the pic being a png, well there is no official rule (yet) that states a pic must be a jpg.  Although pngs are needed in certain areas, this is not one of them.
This is suppose to be a fun competition and for that reason I have fixed all of EQ's pics and his pic will continue.  A few people have already voted against him for his pic being the wrong size, I think that is punishment enough.
