Sometimes three pictures is enough to make a great update (and I must send 30  :D)
I agree with others, this mountain lake is fantastic, the real picture is beautiful too!
And the village looks very charming and quiet

This is excellent!  I haven't actually been[ to Germany (Changing flights in the airport on the way to Spain and back doesn't count) but I did get a look out the window, and this is very realistic!  Not any particular picture, just all of them, it's beautiful! &apls
My days here are numbered. It's been great and I've had a lot of fun, but I've moved on to bigger and better things.

The city of Hammbruck

It will be a new chapter in my recreation-MD. The city will be fantasy, but based on the cities of "Basel, Switzerland", "Düsseldorf, Germany" and "Bremen, Germany". It's situated on the German/French border and the city also has a Parisian inspired part of town.

In this picture you see the overview of the German side of the city. With top left the river and it's industries and port. Bottom left are newly neighbourhoods with hgihrises and appartment-complexes. Top right is the oldest part of the city, with church, stores and historic plazas. Middle of the picture contains the central station (German), the exhibition centers and city-park.

Well, a small introduction of what is to come this summer of ejc, we'll take a little break on the "Sauerland-area", I will continue this when fall/winter is coming and the region is turning into snow...

cheers++

BTW: changed the topic name because I want to show you my overall skills, and not only Ruhrgebiet & Sauerland  ;)

Excellent!  &apls

This is really something which could be seen in Virtual Earth
The seaport/industrial area is perfect, I love also the TV Tower with it's surrounding and HK residentials. Great use of open space, especially in industrial areas!
I think you found your way. I'm very curious of your next creations!

What a fantastic picture.  Everything seems to be very well thought out.  The rail lines are very nice, I even think you could get a very nice complement from our rail expert Bernhard (Nardo69).  A few spots here and there look a little empty/plain IMO, but other than that, I LOVE IT!

Not finished.. Not finished..  ;D

Thanks people for the compliments

I hope I can show you my city-building style I've developped over the past months.

With inspirations by Mr. Beer, Astrianu (American Based CJ's & MD's) I wanted to pull that off in an European region. So; lots of open spaces and use of terrain, combined with diagonal road-building aswell an European Rail-layout -> Hope Bernhard likes it  :satisfied:

A very enjoyable work you have here. I look forward to more of this photogenic region.

Your city is looking brilliant.  I remember seeing your Ruhrgebeit Industrial Ports and thought they were the best I'd seen and you've treated us again.

I really like the river as wel - the embankments and bridges work well together.

Hammbruck

The introduction... It's a city with a population of 457.000 inhabitants. It's situated in Switzerland, near the border with France and Germany. It's a very touristic city and the nations of Germany, Switzerland and France flow together in this city.

The first real finished picture I'm going to show you is of the cathedral in the "german-themed" district. Here is the main shopping center with large warehouses, stores and restaurants..

I will point out every update on this city, a different part of town.. ENJOY!!

HAMMBRUCK Shopping

The church from upclose with plaza in front of it and the avenue tunneling below..

The plaza with terraces that is on the edge of the city-park where people can relax walking and stuff

An overview of the park, that's jammed between the church and the bridge over the river "Rhine"

A close-up of the pond in the bottom of the park. On the right side the old sewer-facilities of the old town centre

The main market-square. Many shops and retail have settled here, aswell restaurants and bars

The same square from another view. Also visible is the small river "Aare" that splitses the German from the French part of town

The river "Aare", with on the left bank; France. And right bank; German

The newly build exhibition center. On the left in this picture the old elevated rail-connection between "Hammbruck HBF" (German) and "Hammbourg SNCF" (France)
Hope you like..
