Let me be the first to start off the voting for this round.

I think it would do your picture a lot of good, deathtopumpkins, to crop out the grid of the abyss - personally I don't have as much of a problem with the minimised menu button, but keeping it clean and removing parts like grids and buttons helps in the illusion that we are looking at something "real", instead of pixels in a game. I like the gently sloping road carving through the hills, will make for a nice drive ;) Perhaps a dash of colour (some forest-floor flowers or even a car or two) will help lift the picture out of the "gloom", green tends to just become a blur if theres too much, its why a forest looks so soothing to the eyes ;D - even the dash of brown from the trunks do their bit!

Some of the Maxis low wealth buildings are my favourites and its nice to see them featured now and then :P Its a well-made picture jmdude1, a dense neighborhood offsets the sprawling rail yard, the scarcity of trees to block out the train noise is a bit worrying though! I would still have liked to see slightly more variety, especially for the row of houses closest to the rail yard, a mix of different heights can really make a difference I think.

On these points, my vote goes to jmdude1.

jmdude gets my vote; 2-0

the detail is awesome! the diagonal billboard and the path next to it connecting again to the avenue.. The small walking trail along the fence that borders the neighbourhood from the railtracks.. and the astonishing long freight-trains with real-life cargo; just love it!

My days here are numbered. It's been great and I've had a lot of fun, but I've moved on to bigger and better things.

I'll challenge with "Railway in Inner Suburbia":

and here's jmdude1's pic (Working Class Neighbourhood):

Happy voting!

Although the railway in the inner city looks real nice, I am still drooling over the very nice slums (can one say that???)

Anyhow, the ghetto gets my vote again: 1/0 for Jmdude1
