SC4 Picture Competition

The fishchurch is a great bat, the lights are perfect, but the picture has something missing. I think if we had seen more of the boardwalk it would have been a great setting.

Tarkus roads are killing me....and the textures of the plaza are superb.

This is a tough one, but I'm going to go with Barby, although I would've liked to have seen a bit more of that boardwalk! And those roads do look amazing in Alex's pic.

Hello Everyone,

I have been away for some and will continue to be.  I am having some RL issues at the moment and I need to take care of that first before I can concentrate on anything else.
So without further adue, I would love to announce that Thundercrack83 (Dustin, my good friend) will be moderating the SC4 Picture Contest as well as the Show Us boards.    Please give him the same respect you have all shown me and continue to support this thread as you all have been.

I would also like to thank Masochist (Isacc) for all his help around here at SC4D and getting the SC4 Picture Contest to where it is today.

Now...on to this contest: I really like Barby's excellent boardwalk, but half of the picture is trees.  Perhaps if the boardwalk itself were more centralized in the picture, it may have gotten my vote, but as it is, Tarkus gets it (using Riverside College and two-lane avenues also gives it a big boost ).

Not because I am sucking up here but I think Barby's Boardwalk is breathtakin and well even though the TLA's is good there is no real focus in Alex's pic, sorry bout that Alex.... So to that I will break the tie with a vote to the Goddess!!!

Two excellent pictures here, but I think the only strike against BarbyW's is the Maxis trees. They detract from an otherwise pleasant scene. Tarkus's TLA-3 is really neat, as well.

I'll go for Tarkus - I like warsawaza's pic but I don't care much for the vast, unbroken stretches of sandstone in it.

I'd have to go with Tarkus by a slim margin - he's making good progress on the NWM mod I see - but of course the traffic lights are all green, so there's still work to be done.
