Sad to see your "Last Orders" announcement, I shall miss stopping by for a cup of tea and to see what was happening in your MD, it was always worth the visit.

Last orders, eh?

I never really posted that much in here, but I got so many good laughs out of it.  This...this is like watching your favorite bar go into its last day of business, or your favorite TV show advertise its series finale.  TaTT was just one of those things I immediately associated with SC4D, like Antigone or the Pic Contest.  It just seemed...right.

I suppose it couldn't last forever, though.  I'll miss it, no doubt; but of course, real life comes first.  I hope you're able to take care of all your business, and are able to come back and wow us with something new.  'Til then...I suppose there'll always be the memories.

Stay cool, TTC.  And as for that last order...how about one last cuppa, for ol' times sake .

I'm sorry to hear that Tales at Tea Time has come to a close but, even more, I'm sorry to hear about the family emergency. Your MD has been a source of great entertainment for those of us here, an excellent source of exceptional pics, and I have no doubt that you will return to create something even more impressive. All of the hints, tips and encouragement you mentioned receiving, you have returned in even greater quantities. Real life issues certainly take precedence and we'll be here when you are ready.

I hope to see you around the site, or at very least that you will stay in touch. Thank you for what you have given us. Take it easy, take it twice, and I'll see you around later.

Hello Derry - I wish you good luck with your real life.

On the other hand, with regrads to your SimCity life? Your creativty, ideas, and the presentation means more to us bat'ers than you can imagine because you are able to diplay them so wonderfully in your Journal. I spend my evenings either playing the game poorly or making bats. It is enjoyable, keeps me from watching too much boob tube, and is a release from the days work. You on the other hand spend your evenings creating wonderful updates to your journal. Between the bat'ter or the journal'er? The game is alive and well. It is time well spent during my evening hours either here at SC4D or in front of gmax. Thank you so much for being a part of my life.

It's really sad to hear about your problems, but knowing you a bit I strongly believe you will be enough wise, strong and patient to handle your present RL issues. I wish you good luck and every time you will be sad or disheartened, please remember that you have some real friends, and at least some of them think about you and send to you good feelings and good energy 

Yes, it will be sad without Tales at the Tea Time. I agree with Isaac (Masochist):

But the life flows, and maybe we will really enjoy a new, even more creative and mad MD made by you at some time? 
And I think I will visit TaTT from time to time, even if it will be hidden in the "inactive" section 

Please visit us from time to time. Your comments are also always warm, friendly and thoughtful, and your sense of humour is something what we really need here!
And maybe you will find some relax and pleasure looking at our (better or worse) creations and ideas?

And talking about "Things outside your Control", well I do know what you mean - my MD is also inactive by now due to these circumstances ...

Anyway it is really a pity even though I do understand your reasons. 

Just one word:

PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON ONE SINGLE DVD!

I made the experience that way too much DVDs become unreadable after 1-2 years, DCD-RWs after 2-4 years more or less depending on brand and your DVD Writer.

Safest way to store you valuable data (don't forget the plugins!) would be a flash stick or an external hard disk.

You know, don't forget to make safe backups ... !

Derry, thanks for bringing some awesome work to here! Even though I've never posted in this thread before, I was always reading it, and I was checking every update. Now, I thought that I could comment on the newest update, but when I've seen the 'Last Orders' thing, I was bothered. And my saddest thoughts came true! 

But if there's something that is very important in your life, it is just the priority. Anyways, I'm looking forward for that 'next MD'.
