Browsing the net the other day and I came across a newbuild project in Mumbai....and this is a take on that:

This is just the start, after around 2 hours....plenty more to come.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

That's all you got done in two hours, jeez what a slacker $%Grinno$% :D.

Chris:  Well, I don't like to rush... ;D

Yoder & Art: Thanks...

Apart from roof junk, building is nearly complete:

All the floors in the night library image don't seem to match up quite perfectly, but other than that, looks good.

Wanted to make sure it looked overall OK before I spent an age in PS moving windows around

This building is very unique looking and I for one really like it.
It will interesting to see it when you add the textures, that always makes a big difference to me.

I thought it was just a little too white, that why I thought the textures were not yet.

This is an excellent BAT!

It would be interesting to know the total time needed for this (BATting, Lotting, Testing, Packaging etc).

Well, the SC4 angled images were rendered at about 6 hours after starting the project...a couple more hours to finish off the model (add roof junk plus a general tidy up).  Making the LOT will probably take me a couple of hours, but depending on how I feel, I may make some props specifically for it (ponds etc).  Modding takes no time with the X-Tool and then around 1/2 hour to package.  Scrutineering is very dependent on a) who's available to look at it and b) people's cities having the requisites for this to grow...

All in all I reckon this could be on the LEX by Saturday.

Ok....maybe it won't be on the LEX for Saturday  :D :D :D

Been adding and tweaking and adding and generally playing.  I think (barring a couple of glitches to fix) the model is done

And a "sims-eye" view

Very nice work.

At least I know my telemarketer sims will be happy in such... luxurious settings. :P

I'm glad you took some time to add some more details.
The roof junk, grounds and the added colour to the side walls makes everything really come together to make this one hellofa model, whether it's your job or not.  ;)
