No! Dont do it! Other's car props are enough- this only distracts you from your regular projects. Dont worry about the rest- maxis props are fine. Everything does not need to be brand spanking new to look good. Its not worth the time fr someting that minor

Ohhh, this is a killer, just discovered this thread and HAD to read it all before bed...sigh...is now twenty after one in the morning &ops,

Have to thank you for your creations.....Have been collecting them all, and think one of my towns isn't complete until I have several streets of "Small Town" shopping!

Keep up the great work.

Cali:  Carports... that's what they're called!  Had a brain fart trying to think of that last night... lol.  Thanks!

Rayden:  Thank-you!  I'll try to finish them up quick, but it may still be a while.

Goin2chicago:   :D Very funny... %ban%   $%Grinno$%

Fledgeling:  No need to worry.  Even if he had been serious, I have no intention of making cars or garbage bags!

Oldrogue:  Welcome to my little corner.  Sorry to keep you up... but I'm sure you saw the health discalimer.   :D  Thank-you for the kind words.

Rooker:  I'm glad you like it and thank you for the idea.  I'm going to use both car port and garage.  Out of the four lots, two will have garages, one will have a carport, and one will be open asphalt.  I guess it's all up to the landlord of each building.  I'm having withdrawal from releasing anything myself.  But look at it this way... when this stuff finally gets done there will be quite a lot of stuff at once.

Nothing to show today, I just wanted to respond to all the comments.  I got all the building models reset last night, so now it's just a matter of exporting everything again.  Probably take a couple days to get through them all.  I'll probably export Lockwood Arms while I'm at it and see what I can come up with for that too.

These are excellent.  The burnt out one was a great idea, and is very well done (no pun intended  ::) )

Rayden, Cali, Oldrogue, Pvarcoe, and Jacky:  Thanks everyone!  That's just one of the attitudes I love about this particular community.  Unfortunately.... we're not there quite yet.  And stop hitting your brother... don't make me turn this car around!

Nofunk:  Thanks for noticing!  This one was pretty simple... but still a first for me, so I was happy about it.

CP:  Well done...  ;D  Stop it... my side is killing me!    ::)  Thanks!

OK... so RLS decided it was time to kick my butt for a while... hence (great word, huh?) the lack of updates this week.  The good news is that I have 6 of the row homes completely redone.  The better news is that I should be able to finish the other 6 this weekend.  Then I just need to get them all back on the lots and make foundations for them all.

In the meantime... I did get Lockwood on a lot.  It's nothing too fancy because it's a pretty tight fit.  This is a 2x2 corner lot, true w2w, with low and med wealth residential versions.  Here's a look:

Medium Wealth

Low Wealth

Until next time...

That looks awesome.  I just wish the benches were not so white (bright), otherwise I love it.  Can we get a picture of the back.  Just curious, but is there a garbage bin and junk in the back corner?

 &apls  &apls

Continued great work!
There is some beautiful detail in that last building.

threestooges

That is a very nice corner building. Nice and symetrical. For rl giving you a good run, you still continue to impress. It is beautiful for its simplicity.

JBSimio

Rooker:  Thanks!  I know how you feel about the benches, but for the sake of continuity, I'm sticking with these hideous things for low wealth.  They may look too clean, but I think they're too ugly for anything else!   ;)  I completely forgot that I hadn't shown the back of this yet.  I'll fix that shortly.

Phil:  Thank-you!  The stone work is what really drew me to this building in the first place.  I think without it, this would honestly be a pretty boring building... lol  Glad you like it!

Threestooges:  Thanks to you as well.  It's nice to know such a simple building still has some sort of worth.

As Rooker so kindly pointed out, I have not once shown the back of Lockwood Arms yet.  So here is the low wealth version.  The medium wealth is basically the same, just with nicer trash cans and cars!   :D  As this shot will show, I will be making a foundation for this one before I can call it finished.

And if you thought that was accomplishing a lot.  Wait till you see what I finished today!  Actually, don't get excited by the word finished just yet... there is one more step before the brownstones will be ready for testing... but it shouldn't be nearly as time consuming as the rendering step that is now done!  Here are the new shots with night views this time.  You may not even notice the difference unless you look close at where the fences meet the buildings, but trust me... this was worth the time.  It will also make foundations possible so these can be slope friendly now too!  Anyway... here it is... your moment of zen.  (I always wanted an excuse to say that!)   :satisfied:

Everything's looking great. The Lockwood Arms building is fantastic. I can hardly wait to be able to use these buildings.  :)

Quite nice. There is no such thing as a building without worth. The worth is increased moreso when the architect is one who puts such effort into their works. It all looks good for the most part, but the car looks out of place behind Lockwood Arms. There doesn't seem to be a door back there, so it seems odd that there would be a single car back there (for residential purposes). Good to see the success you have had.
