Why are so many people walking to work?????

I need some help on this one... recently downloaded and put the CAM into my computer. SC4 actually loaded a gigabyte of plugins in less than 30 seconds on this thing! Trouble is that whenever I look at the kinds of methods people are using to get to work using route querying, it says that everybody's essentially walking to work. One of my cities even had commute times over an hour and a half if you can believe that. Anyway, where can I go to get the game running where people can use a plethora of options again for getting to work? -Joe

Then again... I registered on BSC LEX and found an installer for the CAM. Maybe I should have tried that first... my bad!

I'm not even going to ask.... but if you used that T word, you will not get any support cos you don't know what you have installed.  I would suggest deleting all of the plugins that came with that, installing CAM from the LEX, and then following the links in the CAM lots thread and installing all of that too.  Then the NAM.  It sounds like there was something in there that was causing excissive walking.

My suggestions 

There's only a handful of modds that can do that I guess. Maybe it won't be so hard to search for it in simtrop and find a match to the description of your problem and find the file and delete it.

CAM will help. Just find those plug-ins that are inCAMpatible and delete them. You might get your transportation sector back to reality.

I've installed CAM from the LEX, and the game is performing a lot better. Must have downloaded a lot of junk then from somewhere else other than here. Thanks for the help.
