Does anyone know if it's possible to make SC4TF run in Linux under Wine?  I'm still running SC4 in XP only because I forgot to bring both CDs up to college with me... oops.  But it would be nice to be able to work on my region terraforming without having to reboot.

I unzipped the files into my Wine directory and when I tried to run the program, I got this error:

I'm sure this would mean more to me if I knew anything about programming.

(Has anyone else even tried this?)
Goodness me, it's been a while.
Once upon a (very long) time (ago) I was working on Calidore: A Steampunk Experiment... maybe that will happen again someday.

you need to make sure the needed dlls which I provided links in the readme are installed and run ok under wine
I'm also quite sure DX need to be updated and I don't know if it's working under wine
If you have all stuffs loaded, it should work
