DIRTY WORKS

On the French Side of town there are some very polluting industries.. Gonna show them in this update!

The Garbage disposal and surroundings near the river..

Another shot; I like the way the rail is used for transporting the garbage

Close to the garbage facilities is the mayor Steel mill of the city

Close to the border of the city and next to the Highway A325

Thanks for all your replies!! Next update I will show more of the southern borders of the city and it's outskirts..

ejc,
Your work on these pages makes me feel to take some days off on order to visit your city. Where can I buy a ticket?

Your work is fantastic. You make great combinations of existing and your own lots. There is some realism in that is hard to describe, but that makes me jealous. Definitely worth an award. &apls

Hey moderators! Did you notice this?  &hlp

In the end a question: what are these apartment buildings next to the railwaystation? They are just what I want, but never could find!

Wow, this is looking splenid  &apls

HAMMBRUCK Süd

Today we take a look on the area where the football stadium of VFL Hammbruck is situated. In an old neighbourhood but since the stadium has been rebuild there are also some modern office-complexes moved into the area

The railbridge that connects the German and French part

It's an important rail-connection between the two mayor stations of the city aswell a through-point of international trains. Seen here the TGV to Geneve, Switzerland

The train turning away from "Hammbruck HBF" and is going straight away to the Swiss border

The area around the old factory, with old homes of workers

The plant is only for 60% operating these days..

..and is owned by the Schwartz company that produces paint-products

The main avenue that crosses the southern sections of "Hammbruck", it connects to the highway A325

The lower class homes along the railyards of Hammbruck HBF and it's industrial areas

The overview of the stadium of VFL Hammbruck and surroundings

The stadium on bird-eye view. Totally rebuild in 2003 before the World Championships in 2006

Some modern office complexes on the place of where once stood old lowclass homes..

The tower of Deutsche Bank; heavily lost on the stock exchange the past weeks!

Same area, different view and angle..

Hope you like?!? Still lots to come more and more

 Very impressive work.
I have always loved very industrial looking cities when it comes to SC4.  That is my game style and you are making me very envious when looking at your pictures.

Robin

Hi ejc ,

Firstly I want to say that I browsed back the summer updates I missed ... and your pictures about small villages on sunny hills are fabulous .

Now , knowing that's - in title - recreations , indeed looking at your work is more than looking at simple SC4 pictures & sims . There's clearly an invitation to think about reality ... good or bad , nice or dirty , the world  is doing what it has to do . No choice . Never . My conviction ...and maybe why I'm so attracted by your work .
Some people understand things by taking apart them , you're in the opposite process to re-assemble them ... and I would be curious to know if this kind of work has acted on your way to think the world .  ::)

Cédric.
