SC4 Game Crash

Well this is not an ordinary crash like when your in the middle of the game playing, this crash happens even before you can go into a city you pick into the region, when you think your about to start a new city the screen goes black and takes to desktop, well its like the usual crash to Desktop only this time you don't even get the chance to play at all >> can anyone help me here?

it is because of a conflict in your plugins folder. move all your plugins to a different folder and play the game, then see if it crashes.

I can tell you the one time my game crashed, it was during a save, and when I tried to play the city after, the game crashed. That city was then damaged. Whoever programmed this, what a...
This game is also strict on the backround too. When I had forgotten to put one back in there, it flipped out.

I see well im guessing Shardz is right its gotta be the plugins >> i have over 950mbs of them XP so i guess im gonna delete everything that i know is causing it and reinstalling them all over, of course the only problem that i didnt do that from the beginning is because i thought that maybe the game would still be giving me problems but yeah, also because theres certain files that i wont find anymore to replace or download or dependacy packs that are also unavailable >> which seriously ticks me off alot.

Cuz Seriously theres some old files that i love but i cant find them >> and reinstalling them are a pain the fact that the downloads that i have dont have a good description what they were exactly >> but oh well...*sighs* i hate Sim City 4...its like frecking Windows Vista....>>

Instead of deleting all your files, just move them out and add a few of them at a time, and open the game. You'll be able to narrow down the culprit by repeating this, and then you won't have to delete all your plugins, just the problematic one(s).

Use the link in my signature which will take you to a good tutorial for seperating your plugins out to check for problems.  It doesn't take too long if you use the divide and conquer trick.

Neither well i was picking a mountaneous type but it was from a city that came with the game >> i had to even delete downloaded regions >> but strange i should try another city in the game to see what happens.

I've the same problem, when the city it's loading the game crash, i'm going crazy, i've try to remove all plugins and load a new region but nothing, i've remove and than re-install sim city and rush hour but still nothing someone can help me? thankyou
