Two very different subject materials...this is a tough call.

On the one hand, Rooker has captured a vibrant port with an excellent use of props and their careful placement, however I'm not sure about the Maxis water or the repetitious industry lots.

Carmine (who most definitely is a guy ) has created the complete opposite; a beautiful downtown. While the Photoshopped fashion posters are nicely done, they're a little distracting...and I absolutely want to burn those palm trees I see.

Two excellent pictures, and I applaud both authors. However, my vote goes to Carmine on this one, so:

5-4 in Rooker's favor.

Both pictures are fantastic and essentially i would like to give each of you my vote, but since i can't do that, my vote goes to Rooker1.

Hmmm... Two beautiful pics.

Carmine: Great feel of the living metropolis. Billboards on the w2ws add a lot of realism to the shot, and nice font used in the corner

Robin: Very realistic seaport, looks very creative, and I'm really impressed that you've grown that area with CAM But I don't really like the colour of the water, y'know

...I think I'll go with Carmine this time

Thanks for the criticism guys, the iea of the picture was to showcase the way the housing development rolls into the golf course, but anyway...

These are two great pics, but I'm going to stick with Carmine's (sorry Rooker!)

sEAhAwk fAn121's picture is really great, a good mix of buildings, really great effect, but maybe too much 
Robin's seaport is great, his work with the CAMs lots is very good, and I can see some work on the LE. but I don't like one thing, the water texture  I think it's the original maxis one ? this texture is too transparent, we can see the bottom of the water 

well , I think I go for Robin's seaport

I reviewed Robin's pic already, so let's review sEAhAwk fAn121's one.

Nice use of high buildings, great and realistic for this kind of CBD. The lights add the mistyque feel to your picture, so it looks really like a metropolis at night. But to be honest, I don't see anything really original in your picture, even though I like it.

So I'll go with Rooker1 this time

SeaHaWKFaN, your picture of New Amsterdam is exactly how I picture that the city on the island of Manhattan would look like....I do love every part of the picture.

But - Robin's port is so much more authentic, and has so much great details, that I will still vote for it.... The choice was tough though!
