To make things easier, I'm moving the maps showcased for this poll to this page   Thanks to all so far who've voted already.

Ok, I thought it would be interesting to allow you, the user choose 3 of the 4 maps of China for the next series of releases papab2000 and I will be unleashing on the public in the near future.  This particular poll will close Wednesday midnight on November 12 U.S. Central Standard Time.  The top three will be packaged together as a China 3-Pak [depending if it's under the 10mb limit].  If it's over that limit, then the third [with the fewest votes] will be released as a LEX exclusive as a single ]. 

Here are the rendered views of the 4 candidates:

Fuzhou:  7x9 Large Tiles

Great maps.
I choose Fuzhou....it has enough flat area to build on and yet a massive city could be hugged by those beautiful mountians.
Your maps are always so good.  Stop by my mD and see what I am doing to the Corpus Christie map....a little refining.

hmmm... Fuzhou I think just might be my favorite, though I'm not actually sure what I voted for.

Regardless, I look forward to downloading these from the LEX.

The whole point to the poll was to allow you, the user, pick the map you would most like to see released as my way of saying thanks for all the support I have gotten over the past 3 years that I've been making maps for SC4.  If this is a successful endeavor [and judging from the number of votes in the past 24 hrs, it has been], then there will be more polls like this to come.

I thought it was time to showcase some of the maps that are in the running for this weeks 4 map pak releases.  We already know the four maps from China [posted on this thread page], but papab2000 and I haven't quite picked which maps of the individual countries being featured yet.  Two of three remaining map paks feature Japan and New Zealand.  The final, not featured here, are 14 maps of islands from the South Pacific and will be showcased in the next day or so.

Now onto the images.  First up is New Zealand, of which there are 6 total maps, of which 2 or 3 of those will be released in the first New Zealand map pak.  The others will be used for further NZ paks.

There are 8 finished maps features various cities across Japan.  Tokyo is not yet featured, but is in the planning stages.  Two or three of these maps will make it into the first Japan map pak for release.
