Porter's picture is very nice, his downtown is nicely done !!

Ok.... time to play picture critic, while wait for my hair to dry after my shower.....

Earth quake: Inherently a good picture, lots of custom bats, custom transportation. Very nicely done, but two things stick out. 1) Your highway is completely dead. Kinda weird to me, but I am American after all, so an empty highway is always strange to me. And 2) Your colors are way too vivid for my tastes. It almost reminds me of a cartoon.

NASCAR_Guy: I think I've seen this picture before somewhere (maybe here). Again, an inherently good picture. But I do notice several flaws in this one as well. 1) In the upper left corner, your Windspear Arena has a rather bright green lot. 2) I don't think its realistic (I'm a sucker for realism ) to have a solar power plant that close to a big tower. And last ,3) for the style of city there, those two ultra reflective towers just look so out of place.

So, time for my decision.

I just read through the rules and I see nothing that says I can't challenge with a different pic so....

Sorry NASCAR_Guy, but there is.

"...It's first come, first serve here.  The first two pictures that are put up are the ones that'll be voted on (and no "I call next round").  First one to get ten votes in its favor, or the one with the most votes after 24 hours* (starting when the second picture is posted) goes on to the next round, where the very next picture up will be its challenger.  If it wins three rounds in a row, it's inducted into the Hall of Fame, and the next two pictures up will go head to head.  If your picture loses, it can't be posted up again until at least five entire pages has passed (not five pages worth of posts, but five whole pages devoid of that picture).  You also can't post up a different picture to challenge one you lost to.   If you wish to challenge, just be the first to post up a picture, and be sure to quote the picture you're challenging to make it convenient for everyone.  Be sure that the picture is actually the one you wish to challenge with, because once the first vote has been cast, the pictures cannot be substituted or edited."

I think I'd like to challenger with a little something I just whipped up for my next update...
