News:

The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

Well before I had a chance to thank some for their responses and ideas I see that  jeronij closed the thread.  I thought that this was the place for ideas to make the site better?  Yeah I was amped but I didn't post to upset or insult anybody but to improve things.  I guess jeronij answer of
"I close this thread because it is a waste of site's resources"  could be a problem.

Of course I was being sarcastic about EA's game support.  I do agree that this site loads faster then Simtroplolis and thanks Warrior for your keyword solution for me.

For jeronij's post
"You could show the smallest bit of gratitude to all the people who make this possible instead complaining about futile matters"
maybe you didnt read the start of the post that you were commenting on? but thank you anyway

Also for jeronij's post of
"Ok, in my home, well educated people's firs words when they go to a new place for the first time, are not usually complains."
I am sorry, i didn't realize that if I go to a new place and have a couple problems that I can't say anything negative about it. I guess I am used to the whole idea of Free Speech.

Your post was innappropriate and read as a whinge.  Nothing you said was constructive or aimed at improving things.  If you want to rant, do it elsewhere.  Oh, and "free speech" is a myth, especially on a privately owned website.  Jeroni has every right to insist on a level of behaviour, considering he's paying for the hosting of the site.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

Wrong, the last one complained about a host of things that you found wrong without mentioning once how to make it better.  That is unconstructive.  Sure, there are some things that aren't perfect, but they are often for a reason.

We have had some problems with Bots recently, which means the security settings at registration are a little tighter as a result.  Sorry you don't like this, but you only have to go throught that once.  The LEX and the forums are 2 seperate sites so 2 registrations are required.  Again, you only have to do that once.  Despite not having a remember me check box, the LEX does remember you.  If you click a link in the dependency list it will allow you to download the file without logging in.

I would suggest for your next post, don't complain about the site, or it's management.  Maybe visit some other areas of the site, make some comments, and enjoy.  ;)

The reason the LEX is separate as there are literally thousands of people who do not wish to join the forum but want the content, so we keep the membership separate to keep the forums user database streamlined, which all goes to increasing forum efficiency.

Also, Firefox has a password list that remembers you, but you are directed through the login page as a security measure, as your login is session based, not cookies based.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

Sometimes there is a problem to understanding, that the "freedom of speech" differs from "freedom after a speech" ;). I don't wanna to judge your "problem". Just trying to get you in mind, that you sometimes should consider the consequences of your actions. If you wanna be snippy, don't expect endless tolerance.

Anyway, this site is a private and volunteer creation. Admins spend their money, time, sometimes health ;) to let the show go on. As it's said on the main page - being a member is a privilege and not a right. You disagree with this, don't take a part. Very simple rule. And very often misunderstood, that's a pity.

Sorry for interfere, I've just wanted to put the word from ordinary member of this society.

Cheers
