Wood poles look good. However, I've never seen a metal pole like that. I don't have any examples right now, but most are designed differently.

Well, as I said -- it's a prototype. I just wanted to see how the metal textures looked.

Find a photo of real poles, and use those to judge how thick everything should be.  Right now I think some of your thicknesses are off.

I've been working on that  ;).

Some minor things need to be added to the poles, still. Can't say for sure.

BAT Modelling is complete, but I am having trouble with the Reader, probably because I have Windows Vista  ()testing(). So, I cannot make them transparent myself.

Therefore, in the coming days, I am going to try to get some other BATer/Modder to make them transparent for me (with a credit on the finished product, of course).

If anyone here wishes to volunteer, please reply.

The metal and wood versions will be released in seperate uploads. The first will be wooden, the second metal.

So, you want to make your poles have a transparent base, Patricius?  I'll volunteer to do this, if you want me to.  I've sent you a PM containing the address that you can email your poles to.

After resigning from the No Name Maps Team and the DOT at Virgin Shores, I have a desire to start anew and "reboot" myself as far as Simcity is concerned. This, coupled with problems modifying the models in gmax, has compelled me to postpone this project and thread indefinently.

Consider this thread and my BAT projects in stasis until furthur notice.
