The render for the Tokyo map has been completed [took 4.5 hours to open and close all 224 total tiles ], now the process of importing the tiles from the big map to the four smaller, more manageable sections of 8x7 lrg regions can begin.  This project should be finished up within the next week   More updates to come soon

Grneyes - Those three maps of which you refer to, Boston, Baltimore and DC still have some tweaking to do and unfortunately, are not finished at this time.  At the moment, papab2000 and I are releasing a portion of our international maps, putting all U.S. maps on hold and will probably continue to do so through until at least the end of the year. 

Thanks Heblem   Actually, I think beskhu3epnm's NYC map is 16x16 lrg tiles...or is it?  I won't be able to upload this map as is though, the sc4m is 11mb, which is why I'm sectioning it off into four, more easily manageable 8x7 lrg tiles quadrants.  They'll be packaged as two 2-Paks and released as soon as they're done, hopefully in time when Rich and I release our next series of Japan Map-Paks next week sometime.

Troy, I love DC (I am a DC boy at heart) and I loved your first rendition of DC. But I was absolutely beyond amazed and fell deeply in love with your latest recreation of DC!

I never thought a more perfect recreation of DC was possible until I saw the latest version and I have been holding out for it with bated breath and many plans!

Patience, however, is a virtue.

  Ok, it'll be on the fast track.  I'll start working on getting it finished tomorrow.  I still have to draw in some of the rivers on the western side of the map and then it's pretty much done.  Shouls have available on the LEX by Friday night, or Saturday afternoon

Troy, I woke up this morning and vissited this forum for the first time in a while. 
To my surprise you did extended work on the Tokyo map.
I love the work you did on that map, excelent!!! 
When I get my rig up and running again and the map being ready I will have a blast moving some sims into that region.

Grneyes & M4346   How ya doing?  Guess what?  No. No.  DC hasn't been released yet.  In fact, I haven't even started to package it up, let alone think about uploading yet......Ouch!  Will you two put the pitchforks down please ........ok ok ok if you two stop jabbing at me, I'll release the map later on tonight   Had you for a moment didn't I?

I do have to say that I love the new DC map. SO much better than the previous one....no offense! All that additional water, love it. Between the Eastcoast maps and the China maps, I will be busy for quite awhile! Might even upload a picture if I get to SC4D standards.

First up, the Washington DC V2 map is now available on the LEX exclusively.

I don't have pics at the moment to you, I wanted to announce that the split of the Tokyo map into four 8x7 large tile regions was completed about an hour ago.  Pics to follow in the next 18 hours

10mb from my understanding, though I've never tried anything bigger than maybe 7.5mb personally.
