Hey SC4D Community,

I am in the process of making my first BAT. But when I apply my test textures for the windows it does not apply properly. If you look at the picture is is completely distorted. The same thing applies more noticeably with brick textures, panelling, or other textures with rectangular lines.

HELP???

Can you please provide a picture for us?  I would say you need to apply a UVW map modifier.

The problem may be that you are seeing it messed up in the viewport. Unfortunately, I don't think this can be fixed, as long as it looks good in the preview renders. But, if it is messed up in the render as well, then use the UV modifiers (as Diggis mentioned): Go Modifiers > UV coordinates > UVW map, and in the panel to your right, choose planar or box. For cylinders, choose cylindrical, and make sure to check 'cap'. ;) Good luck!

Thanks for your help.

Did a test render but in the render (on HIGH) the texture didn't even show up

What could be causing this???

I may be wrong, but it sounds like you need to apply the UVW Map parameter.

Click on your item; then in the right panel, you should see your item name, its color, and below that Modifer List; if you do not see a lightbulb, and then + UVW Mapping in the list, then you need to do the following: in the menus at the top, click Modifiers --> UV coordinates --> UVW Map. Without this, your textures won't render. I hope this helps!
