Okey, heres the deal:
With these specs: Intel duo 8500 clocked up to 3.5Ghz per core, 4gb ram 800mhz, ATI HD4870 (512mb) graph card, and so on... i get problems with running SC4.
With the game graphics tuned down, it still lags. And that happends with a city with under 10.000 habitans. ???!?
I have no explaination... i have no programs running in the back, and the computer is generally optimized for running a game.
CoD4 with top resolution and settings works perfectly.

What is happening?! :O

(btw, sry for the bad english, im norwegian.)

I've heard the game has problems when running using both cores.

Try restricting the game to using one core only.

If I can I'll try to find where I read that and link you to it

Hope that helps

okey :) i thought a single application, for instance a game, could not combine two cores at the same time? :O
