Can , pls anyone help me to know , how to measure height or depth in SC4 terrain?

Press Ctrl-X

In the box that opens up, type TerrainQuery and hit enter.
(If you're using Buggi's Extra Cheats DLL you could right-click in that box and select TerrainQuery from the scroll-down list).



Now point the cursor anywhere in the game and you'll get the coordinates for that point.
The origin (X=0, Z=0) is the NW corner of the city:




  • X is the distance in metres from the western edge of the city
  • Y is the vertical height in metres (sea water level is at 250 m)
  • Z is the distance in metres from the northern edge of the city

The cells (or more commonly known as tiles) are 16×16 m in size.
The picture above is take close to the SE corner of a large city (256×256 tiles).
In that corner the X and Z cells would be 255 and the coordinates 4096 m.
