Which terrain, rock and Godmode tree mod are you using?

voltaic

Thx art, FrankU and RBC.. :)

Well.. Just the usual Cycledogg-Things. The Terrain-Mod is the Columbus Terrain Mod and the trees.. Jep, here it's not so simple. I use for some lower regions PEG's seasonal trees, CP's seasonal trees.. the SFBT-birchs.. Well - all these seasonal things in combination with douglas trees, and in higher regions (like Vercors & Chartreuse in the left/right edge of this map) just the douglas trees. The rockmod is this one: http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=35
..and i use only jrj's semitransparent plop-water. (and PEG's pond-kit for the gd. lac de laffrey, but i think i will change that, caused in the difference between jrj's and PEG's water-color..)

OK, here is part of my region Brockway.  I can't show the whole region because it is too big (16x12 extra large maps)

This is the most populous area of this region, as most of the region is still untouched.  This area is made up of about 7 extra large cities.  Presently, it has about 825 000 sims.  It's has proven to be quite a challange to build because everything is built on such steep slopes; most every building was done one piece of zone at a time.  The steep slope actually hides a large portion of the city on the north sides of the hill.  Unfortunately, I cannot load one of the cities (the one in the center just below the airport that has no trees) because it causes SC4 to crash everytime I try.  I've given up hope on finding ways to load it up, so i will replace it and start over again soon.

This is an island in the center of a large lake.  It's probably time I build some bridges off of it, but the city that won't load up is blocking access to the shore.  I think my next step will be to finish replacing all the farms with houses, than to finish connecting some of the railways and highways that presently lead nowhere.

Here is the transportation map.  Please excuse all the airport symbols, there are apparantly alot of heliports scattered about.

Heblem

Thats a great map there, what terrain mod are you using?

BTw if you want to showcase an entire region map, you can use this program that allows you to do it

I can't remember exactly what the mod is called, but it I think it is supposed to resemble western North American mountains.
Thanks for the link, I will check it out.

This is my new region I'm working on called Golden Coast.  It's my first region made with terraformer and I wanted to incorporate mountains, plains, a coast, islands and a river for variety.

I plan on eventually covering the whole plain with city, but that's gonna take a while.  I'll also put a few small towns up in the mountains.   You can see some of the avenues layout for the near future development.

Hi all, thought I would share my new region after more than a year of not playing... It is based of the Cheboygan map found on the LEX. I have just finished planting out the region with trees, which took forever!...

This is the first region I've ever considered "finished". It has just over a million in population. I prefer smaller regions, they seem less overwhelming to me! This one is a large tile surrounded by medium ones.

Ok here is my new region, still working on some details.  It is 12x12 large cities (which is smaller than my old one).  I'll probably add some more small islands, and maybe expand the mountains a little longer.  But I'd like to hear everyone else's opinions on what I should add.  I imported the island with the cities on it from my old region, and so far I've added a few rivers.

Commments?  suggestions?
