gmax problem with mouse

I hope this is the right place to post this. I encountered a problem suddenly yesterday where my right mouse button no longer functions in gmax. It doesn't seem to be a mouse problem as it works in every other program. Its just in gmax. It is completely useless. Won't open up any menus, and it won't allow me to select a viewport. Its just dead.

Any thoughts? I haven't found anything under Customize--->Preferences and I am starting to feel like this is impossible.

If I have to uninstall gmax and reinstall it, can I just save all my files somewhere else and then move them back in? It won't create a problem will it?

I've had that problem before, I could fix it by just restarting my computer. If you still can't get it to work and you reinstall gmax then you can just put the files back, it won't mess anything up.

restarting the computer was just what I needed to do! thanks! I guess I should have done that before I completely reinstalled gmax and BAT..haha
