Your city definitely looks asian, especially the house with the canals. Félicitations &apls

Today it's Roc-à-Pic time !

Roc-à-Pic lies just next to Fort Bayart, crossed by the 10km long Boulevard Lafayette. Roc-à-Pic was at the end of the XIXth century a summer destination for some wealthy famillies of Fort Bayart, it's was nicknammed the litle tientsinese Riviera.
During WWII the japanese bombed most of the houses, today just a few remain. In the 60s with the will of George Pompidou, Roc-à-Pic was rebuilted around the project of France-Expo.

Dugommier Street is now dominated by the Centre Admnistratif Dugommier , built in 1981. As you can see, just a few structures remain from the WWII

Riviera Hill is now the home of luxury condos and hostel offering wonderfull view on Fort Bayart Bay

Bastet69008

nova vesfalo

Hi Vesfalo,

I always enjoy seeing your updates.  Roc-a-Pic is looking very vibrant and "buzzing".  It has the feel of being an exciting place, strolling along th eboulevard, or shopping in the hussle bussle of those markets.  And then you can escape to the Expo Park for some relaxation.

Excellent work
