Dustin,
Great work on the newspaper, that's what I would like mine to turn out like.  You need to give me some pointers on PS, please.

Robin
Call me Robin, please.

Wonderful work on the newspaper, Dustin. I've seen plenty in RL that don't look half that good! The Daily Fish Wrapper comes to mind.

Alfred.Jones: Thanks, my friend! I don't know why the idea to use that popped into my head, but I'm glad it did! Take care!

Arthur (art128): Hi, Arthur! Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it!

bat: Danke schön!

Robin (rooker1): Thanks, Robin! Anytime you want or need help in Photoshop, you know where to find me! After all, it's the least I could do to return the favor for all your help, my friend. Thanks for coming by!

Joan (Jmouse): Thank you, Joan! Our local paper around here is pretty much only good for lining bird and rabbit cages.

deathtopumpkins: Thanks! It was warm here for a while, but now it's starting to get a bit colder again. I hope we get more snow soon, though—I'm a winter person.

Well, it seems that the Telegraph was able to get a real photographer out to the sports complex area to get the up-close scoop. The only problem? Well...

...he got a bit too up-close! One of these days, they'll get it right!

In other news, though, more development has been taking place over at the train station. Here's the initial texturing and set-up of another section in the LE...

...currently sans props. I took it into the game to make sure I had the dimensions right...

...Whew—I did!

Here's a view from the opposite angle. One other thing I have to take care of, too...

...is matching up these textures on the billboard lot for continuity in the entire section.

Back to work, actually I should probably try to go to sleep, it's after 6:00 AM here in Pennsylvania. Comments, criticisms, suggestions, etc., are more than welcome, friends!

In a bit!

Dustin,

That progress here looks very promising my friend.
The CNIT lot looks excellent, even without any props, but It looks to be a great lot, like all your others work !
I think you will put some fences around the big grass area, no ?

Take care,
Arthur.

Dustin, haven't commented here in awhile, but I've been lurking regularly, my friend. Just had to say what an awesome station you have there. Looking forward to seeing more......

This is continuing to look excellent!  I like the model you're using for that train station, it's going to look great when you add all the details.

Hey there, pal.

You have quite a gem going on! This CJ is really beautiful. I really love the little tutorials you give with your updates, and I really appreciate the one you gave on the first page on how to make an island! That's something I will try.
Your custom lots are also really beautiful. Taking time to do custom lots really puts you miles ahead.

Looking forward to more!  I'm intrigued.

Nice lot Dustin!  I can imagine it's going to look real good with props! And I can't wait to see that sports complex once the photographer gets it right!

Arthur (art128): Thank you, Arthur! I'm glad you like the lot, so far! I'm still working on the props now, but you might be on to something with the fences! Thanks for stopping in!

Don (homefryes): Hi, Don! Glad to see you back, my friend! I'm happy you like the station!

Battlecat: Thanks, my friend!

guurgkud: Hi, there! Welcome to Marathon! I'm so glad that you're enjoying things here and I hope to see you here again soon!

bat: Thank you so much, my friend!

deathtopumpkins: Thank you! I'm still working on the props now, but hopefully I have something to show soon! Take care!

I've been spending an awful in the LE lately, only heading into the game to check things out. So this evening, I thought I'd get back to basics a bit with just a random neighborhood shot...

Nothing special, just one of those pictures that I enjoy putting together. It was a bit tougher this time around, though, since I didn't have my full plug-ins folder.

More from Marathon to come, thanks for coming by!

Dustin,

Great picture, maybe one of my favourites so far.  The W2W fits in perfect with jestarr's industrial stuff in the back ground.
&apls
Hey, how long are you going to be working on the Sports Complex area?  ::)
Hope we can get some more pictures real soon.
Robin

Excellent photo, Dustin. Very realistic - everything fits together really well. Plus there's some traffic on the streets and some pedestrians. Very well done!

Hey Dustin, even if Robin have already said what I was thinking, I will say it,
The W2W are really greatly done my friend, and fit perfectly with the industrial building.

Robin (rooker1): Thanks so much, Robin! I'm glad you like the picture, my friend! As for how long the sports complex will take...well, your guess is as good as mine!

Joan (Jmouse): Thank you, Joan! I have fun putting areas like this together, and I always try to make sure that I get some traffic on the streets, too! Glad you stopped by!

Pat: Thanks, my friend!

Arthur (art128): Merci, Arthur! I glad you enjoyed the picture, my friend!

I've been slowly adding some more to the CNIT section of the train station. Adding, subtracting, re-adding, subtracting again, etc., etc., etc...

That's where we stand as of right now!

And a bit more from the sports complex...

We've been working pretty hard on it tonight—I even drove Robin to drink!

In a bit!

metarvo

That's some good LE work that you've done on the train station, Dustin.  It looks like the sports complex is starting to shape up, and I know it will be first-class when it is done.  The truth is, from what I've seen, that it may practically be there already.

You're really trying to make everything detailed and you're doing a far better job of it than I could. ;D  &apls Incredible work! Great job with the Lot Editor.
