News:

The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

We advise the excursionist with a taste for the exotic to spend an additional day on the railroad north out of Melacca, debarking at Xinh Kieu Station.  Hire a porter to bear your goods twenty miles along the Chu Kiang River road, to the only ferry crossing that river.

Once there, board the ferry to the town of Chiew Kiang, home of the Jiang Chuan brewery.  The spirits produced there, while foreign to refined tastes, was the only brewery licensed by the Chinese Emperor to produce a certain golden liquer.  Now freed from the despotic rule of that ossified State, the workers there are now free to produce their beverage for the glory of White civilization.

The rail line, built to service the copper mines of the Union Miniere de l'Orient at Khai Tho, bypasses the village entirely...
