Props - Size

First of all I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question.....

Is there a way to resize a prop in LE, and if not then I was wondering where I could find a smaller version of a prop found in the maxis ones?

Namely the Catipiler prop I use for MML Lots. I would like to know what prop pack has em', the name of the pack file with the prop and the ID of the prop in LE, "what name it is under when you look through the list". That is if you can not resize the prop.

You cannot resize a prop in LE. I am not sure which prop you are referring to so if you could post an image it might help.

It is one of the contruction vehicles. Either having this one:

or the Bulldozer... I followed the MML Tutorial that was included with one of the MML Lots (Hole digger Lot) and in that, "Mittfh" lists a few Instance IDs or rather what ones to look for that are maxis props. He based it off of diggis's tutorial. I am not sure if Mittfh is the right spelling since in the tutorial the signature is in a different curvy font.

But anyways I would deffinately like to know of another Instance ID to use or how to find it in LE so I can make a few more MMLs.

Oh as you can see the Prop is too big. That is my ASC MML Lot. In LE the Water didn't show, but it shows in game with the same dependancies of those lots.

I have already made an ASC/ACS MML, but the prop was too big and that was my first one I made. It works at least, but the maxis prop is too big. I hope the pic helps ~~if it shows up~~...

Diggers are big.

Maybe try the BSC vehicle props. I don't recall the link for them (possibly in a Mega Pack) but that was the ones I used when I was doing them.

Actually I've seen the prop I'm looking for in other MMLs and it is a smaller version. I would rather use the CAT or Bulldozer prop construction vehicles. That is why I am asking for the Pack it is in and possibly the ID it is within the pack... Well the ID you would see in LE.

BSC Vehicle Props? Do they contain a CAT or Bulldozer? I really would like to know which pack it is in...

The only reason I need to know which pack is so I can have it in the directory when I load LE, obvious, among the other dependancies for the other MMLs I want to create, one at a time.

If you download one of the MML's I did then the prop pack I used (which probably have what you want in it) are linked in there.

Like the Digger Lot V2 MML? Cause I have that and all the dependancies.... hmm.... Thanks, but do you know the range of IDs or should I open the file in reader to get the name of the props to find in LE? What do I look for the Prop Exemplers or the actual model Graphic for the prop?

The Foss Construction Tower Crane set.... is the dependancy but.... I don't know if it is in one of the BSC packs is it?

No, like the SMN lots I created. The hole digger ones were done by Mittfh I believe. You are getting confused with Diggis and digger.

which is where I got my construction props from. I don't know the IIDs sorry, you'll have to install this and have a hunt round.

The ones in The CSX MEGA Props Vol 6 must be in the directory as they have an overwrite to the one I am looking for.... I think... In the lot editor that is what it looks like this prop pack does to the original Maxis props. So any MMLs that anyone wants to make should probally have this file in their directory so they can use the resized Maxis prop in LE.

The Vehicles I found in the pack, at least in the lot editor worked the first time I loading LE with only that pack, but the next time I loaded LE, the props ended up the same size as the Maxis ones.... I don't know what I am doing wrong... after all this is all on a 1x1 lot. Maybe I need to restart my computer.... I'll try that... I'm not sure if they are suppose to be that big or what. hmmm.....

EDIT: That didn't work. I guess they are suppose to be that big. It would be nice if they were roughly 3/4(75%) of the size, since I have seen smaller ones in the real world.

I need help in making one particular MML for CCPW SG Canals, not the CCPW CAL Canal version, In the file there are 3 Instances that concern me, as 1 pair are almost duplicates, and the 3rd has only the building exemplar.

"d28bfdfa" is the pair. Instance ID

The pair has two building Exemplars and one config. I am not sure but does it really matter?
Now the group ID is different but does that mean it is a family or something else. Group ID:
"3248eac5" is marked Newman Inc CCPW Subway Stop
"07bddf1c" is marked SG Subway Station
Would the MML still work with the Instance to hide, in this case, both or are they separate lots? This is where I am confused...

"728c65f1" is the 3rd. Now this one has a different Instance but the same Group ID as The Newman Inc CCPW Subway stop.

That makes me even more confused. Should I be adding Both Instances to have all the CCPW work for the MML (I mean both Instances plus the other Exemplars in the file.), or is there a reason for these three files... that part I am just curious.

The rest of the CCPW doesn't do this, as each piece has one Building and one Lot config.

Also in the CCPW Downtown the 3x1 lot has both a duplicate(Same Instance ID) Building and Lot config, but each has a different group ID. I am sorry for the silly questions but I really wondering why it was done that way in this one, because basically it is the same lot with obviously in the Config a slight variance, is it just another separate lot and should I be including both Building Exemplars?
