SC4 Picture Competition

     Hmmm, this is the toughest one I've voted in.   

Let's see I love Colyn's Symphony of light.    BUT...    I'm gonna have to go for iamgoingtoeatyou's pic.   Sorry Colyn.   iamgoingtoeatyou has a bit less repetition in it.    I can't see as much anyway.   LOL      Both are really fabulous.

While both are well done, I think my vote would be for iamgoingtoeatyou. Both have fine buildings and Colyn's certainly lives up to the 'light'  part of his "symphony of light" and it's nice to look at, but eatyou has a nice perspective thing going for it. Tall buildings up close make the smaller ones seem far away and yet still large... a bustling city on the move. It was a close one though.

Wow, this is another tough one. 
I really like the ultra-modernistic, imaginative, forward-looking style of Colyn's city, but something about the lighting in iamgoingtoeatyou's grabs me and makes me feel like I'm really there, flying over his city.  (Maybe it's that all the buildings have a similar color of lighting ).  So I'm going to go with iamgoingtoeatyou on this one. (Sorry Colyn)

Also . . . thanks everyone for voting my picture into the hall of fame  (I can't believe it won 3 times )  Most of the houses in the picture are part of a set that went up for testing a couple days ago, so with any luck they should be on the LEX in a week or two.

ahhh..... this is a really hard decision, both of them, show a best nite life shot..... i like those japanese bat(is it?) lighting.... realistic....

sory colyn..... this time i give my vote to... errrr...... iamgoingtoeatyou..... although i ever seen his pic several times before at somewhere.....

hmzzzz this is a hard one...their both in the same style..both have pretty fuzzy colors and both have buildings on them!

I'm also gonna go with iamgoingtoeatyou, simply because I love his use of those B.A.T.'s!  So that's 7 votes... 

iamgoingtoeatyou pulls out an exciting 7/4 win for this round!

I've thought about this all day...

...yeah, the choice was that hard for me...

...and I'm going to tighten this up a notch:

eatyou/hotdogs gets my vote, but both pics are, IMHO, well worthy of acclaim.  I guess the thing that sealed it for me was the consistent genre that ey/hd is developing with his pics- one that I'm coming to enjoy much more as time goes by.  I hope metasmurf shows us more of his Scandinavian small town vision soon, though- that's also very appealing stuff.
