Today I decided to have a go at playing in windowed mode, I however noticed that my screen goes all blurry when scrolling, as you see in the picture below:

Now the obvious question: is this normal?

The second is a really weird bug: I have 2 subway icons in my misc transport menu, both lay subway, but one results in a CTD once the subway is drawn. Does anyone know what the cause might be?

For windowed mode, does it stay like that or does it go away if it sits there for a short time? Usualy when you scroll or zoom the game has to redraw the buildings. It ususally draws a rough blurry version and then the correct view.

As for the subways, it seems you have two NetworkAddonMod_Custom_Misc_Transport_Menu_Plugin_Optional.dat 's in your plugins folder.

thanks for the fast reply, the windowed mode stays like that until I draw a road, rail, ... then the area near the trawed stuff becomes sharp again all the rest stays blurry.

For the other problem: I did a search to find the 2 files but I only found one. So does that mean that there is another cause for it?

Have you used DAT packer?  If so you may not have removed the original from the plugins when playing.

Pat

hey WC did you have this problem before when playing in full mode?  If not where you using software rendering or hardware rendering? Try switching that out and see if that helps in window mode to correct that blurring problem, if not I would just go back to full screen...

Shaun does bring up a good question did you dat pack your NAM folder at all? If so throw out that Dat packed and go back to the unpacked one and check it for any duplicates...  If that is still not the case I would suggest a reinstall of NAM....

UPDATE: blurry image problem was solved by changing to software rendering, double subway issue remains however
