So the word is out : congratulations Dustin  &apls The majority of the site has spoken.

As there is not any MD that received so many replies (and now on page 82!) in such a relative short time (correct me if I am wrong statistics man) it's no surprise that you end in the HoF in "no time" as well!

The quality of work shown in your MD is outstanding, so I guess: you deserved your place here, already

Arthur (art128): Thank you so much, Arthur! I'm so happy that you like it, my friend!

Alex (Driftmaster07):  Thanks, Alex! I've thought about releasing some things to the LEX, but I would have to clean things up a lot in order to make them LEX-ready. Maybe one day, though!

Luke (Luke09): Thank you, Luke!

Pat: Thanks, my friend!

Adam (Ennedi): Thank you so much, Adam, for presenting this plaque on behalf of the Hall of Fame Committee. I am truly honored to be receiving it, as well as being moved to the Hall of Fame. Thanks again, my friend!

Alex (Driftmaster07): Thank you, Alex!

Robin (rooker1): Thank you, Robin, my very good friend! Good to see you here, but get back to your wife's side! She needs you!

sebes: Thank you for your very kind words and congratulations, my friend. A lot has happened here in Marathon in the last six months, it's quite overwhelming! I'm so glad that you enjoy things here, and I thank you so much for all your support! Take care, my friend!

io_bg: Thanks so much!

Well, what can I say? Here we are at Marathon's new home in the SC4Devotion MD Hall of Fame! It's so wonderful to be here amongst the best of the best—AntigOne, Ennedi Plays Shosaloza, Whitefall, Blackwater (with Islas Gemas), Mind Scape, and Tales at TeaTime! I thank all of you, once again, for all the support that not only got Marathon here, but got Marathon here so quickly. Without your support, we wouldn't be anywhere, would we? So thank you all again!

You'll notice, too, that things look a bit different now in Marathon. I thought that, with the big change to the Hall of Fame, it would be time to switch things up. I hope you like it! With that out of the way, back to...

...Abitibi Square! The latest addition is completed, as shown as above. Here's...

...another angle and zoom level. And, also...

...an overview.

Things have spread out quite nicely in the area, I'm really starting to like it! The only question is, "How much more will be filled in, and with what?"

These questions—and many others—will be answered in the next episode of Soap Marathon!

In a bit!

Battlecat

Looking good, the final details on that new lot really do look fantastic!

darraghf

Looking great!. Nice work with the square and thanks for giving us an overview.

Well Dustin, I see that extraordinary lotting continues to be a trend here... so I guess you haven't switched things up that much, now have you?  ;)

Abitibi Square looks great and has really become the cultural epicenter of Marathon Island!  The overview picture shows just how nicely this all fits together.  (I'm curious about the block near the expressway where the avenues split to go around whatever will be there, but I'm sure you'll clue people in when you're ready)  The first close up really shows off your skills though... so many little details to see and it's obvious just how much thought went into these lots.  Although, with so many people out and about, it does beg the question... Don't any of these people work?!?  What are they all doing just hanging around on a Wednesday morning?  :D

Congratulations once again (now that you're officially home) and I'll see you next time!

Battlecat: Thank you, my friend!

Darra (darraghf): Thanks so much!

Jon (JBSimio): Hi, Jon! Thank you so very much, I'm so happy that you like the Abitibi Square area! There's still some more that needs to be done yet, but slowly we're getting things together, I think. As for that other block you spotted, well...that's part of a plan that I have that isn't really much of a plan at the moment, more of an inkling, perhaps? Either way, when the light bulb officially goes off, you'll see the results here! Take care, Jon!

carkid1998: Thank you! Though I'm not sure if it's "perfection!" Ha-ha!

kimcar: Thanks so much, my friend! I wouldn't have made it this far without your kind words and support since the very beginning. Hope to see you again soon!

Alex (Driftmaster07): Hi, Alex! While that building in the bottom left serves as a bus station in Marathon, it is actually the Warsaw Main Railway Station, a wonderful BAT by our good friend Feroxx. Hope that helps!

Luke (Luke09): Thank you, Luke! And congratulations on becoming a citizen, my friend!

bat:
Danke schön, my friend!

Corey (Nexis4Jersey): Thanks, Corey!

Arthur (art128): Hey, Arthur! Thanks so much!

It's been a bit of a slow and rainy day here in the Keystone State. I spent most of my time arranging matches (not really, of course...or did I? No, I didn't... ... ...or?), but as I was sitting down to do a bit of work, I realized that it had been a while since we got a region-wide shot at Marathon Island.

So...

...there it is—labeled for your orientation and all!

Avert your eyes from the "?!!?" section in the middle of the island...that's a yet-to-be-planned section—one of those "inklings" that I mentioned to our friend Jon (JBSimio) above. Don't worry, though, we'll get there sooner or later, I'd imagine.

In the meantime, I have something else percolating in my cranium.

More on that to come!

darraghf

Well Marathon Island is coming on slowly but surely. Keep it up.

Always something new to see. It's fun to watch these areas slowly expand over time (and in some instances, such as that area around the cathedral, expand rapidly). Curious to see what the new area will be, but in the meantime, I should have something to send you way here in a bit. Hope all is well Dustin.

I'm back....
Great updates and I am very curious about this "inkling" in the middle of the map and the percolating in your cranium.  I hope it doesn't hurt.  ::)  I feel left out since we haven't talked on MSN in sooo long.  All my fault of course. ;)  But I think I'm back now, although a little less maybe.  I'll have to see how things go and how demanding Alyssa is going to be.
I'll look for you later.

Keep up these fantasic updates my friend, they are really enjoyable.
Robin
