Well, I've been doing a bit of thinking on where to take things in Marathon next. Perhaps...

...there?

Well, not there exactly—don't worry, pure forests of skyscrapers like that are not really my thing, that was just an exaggerated example!—but a bit of a "tip-toe" in that direction.

Oh, and we've recently passed 1700 comments and 50000 views here in Marathon! Those numbers keep going up, thanks to all of you! Thank you all so very much!

More to come!

Hey Dustin,
Fantastic milestone....and I love forests of skyscrapers.  Why can't we go in that direction?  That mosaic looks like a great start.

Robin
Call me Robin, please.

darraghf

I agree, that's very dense, too dense. Some parks and trails are on the agenda for the next update so.

How many windows are there on this mosaic ?? :D That's a big modern forest here Dustin, but It looks great and I like it, it's like LA or Chicago.
Also, I see that you used my favorite building of Monréal, nice !
take care,
-Arthur.

Congratulatios! I had just noticed the 1711 comments! Keep up the good work!  EDIT: Hey Dustin, I have just started a MD and now have a extra XP computer too. So how do you transport regions from that computer to my Vista? You told me you did a while back so...

Alex

My new MD. Check it out if you wish.

Adrian, I miss you man.

carkid1998

Blimey that buildings big! Where did you get it??

We could have some highways...
Sendona... Coming soon!

Battlecat

A well built urban core can be quite beautiful even if it is a bit of a forest of skyscrapers.  And with the amount of money it would have cost to build the artificial Island there, high density would be a necessity.  Particularly since the transport infrastructure has been designed for large volumes of people.  I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what your plans are!

io_bg: Thank you!

Robin (rooker1): Thanks so much, Robin! Skyscraper forests, eh? We'll see what happens, my friend!

Darra (darraghf): Definitely very dense, you're right! Don't worry though, things won't be that dense. It was just me playing around!

Arthur (art128): Wow! I never thought of how many windows are there! It's a quite a large number! And that's my favorite building from Montréal, too! Take care, my friend!

Alex (Driftmaster07): Thank you, Alex! All I did to switch my region over to Vista was make a copy of my "Regions" folder and bring it to the other computer. If that doesn't work, let me know and we'll see if we can figure something else out. Good luck!

carkid1998: As our good friend Joe (JoeST pointed out, it is the Bashnja na Naberezhnoj C (Embankment Tower C) by SimFox, and can be found on the STEX.

Battlecat: I like your thinking, my friend! I love skyscrapers, and certainly want to incorporate them, but I also want to avoid that "wall of buildings" feel that can happen quickly with really tall buildings. We'll figure it out, though! Thanks for stopping by!

Joe (JoeST): Indeed, you're correct, Joe! Thanks for your help, and for your great comments!

Luke (Luke09): Thanks, Luke!

Well, I'm still messing around with the third set of New York City Housing Projects by marcszar...

Man, do I love playing with low-income neighborhoods!

In a bit!

art128

Great mosaic, Dusitn ! I really love the W2W line between the waterfront and the ghetto.
Take care,
-Arthur.

Hello Dustin,
Not sure which one of us loves the low income more, you or I?  At any rate, I think I would have done an area very simliar to what you have above.  Marc's stuff is amazing, isn't it?
See you around,
Robin
