Looks great Skell! I like the way you build up your industrial area's, I'm going to try that as well  &apls

Nice variety, and I like the spacing between the lots.  I try to do the same with my industrial areas as well, they just don't look good in huge bunches.  Good use of those diagonal fillers, too.  :)

skell

I agree about the need to avoid huge bunches. Industrial facilities need space for trucks and equipment to move outside.

Skell,
I really like the level of detail that you have added to this area.  Your use of the diagonal fillers is perfect.  The ability to make the lot look diagonal and follow the shape of the roads are perfectly done.  And I for one, disagree with having "bunches" of industrial lots so close together.  Yes the trucks need space to move, but not really that much that your picture/area looks unrealistic.  I think you have done a fantastic job and would love to see more of your city if it looks as good as what you have shown us so far.

Very good work Skell, especially with diagonal fillers, walls and textures. The whole area (including residential part) looks very well planned and realistic.
I hope we will see more of your pictures!

Thanks Robin and Adam.  I hope to get some more of this town, and others, posted in the next few days.  However my weekend plans of golfing will get in the way a bit.  This town has plans for a facelift of downtown, but keeping with the low-rise, small town downtown scheme.  Maybe I'll do some before and after shots.  It's also getting a big portion devoted to the JB Simio University set.  I'm still experimenting with those to see how to work them best.
