I was hoping if anyone would be so kind as to either point me to a tutorial or assist me in doing this. I would like to add textures to these curves (as has been done with the Road and Avenue curves) because I hate how they don't blend in and would really appreciate assistance of whatever form in this regard.

Thank you very much in advance,

M

It all depends on if you don't mind them being blocky...I already did NOB.

I was hoping they'd be blocky :P however, I am using the SFBT grass texture.

(By the way, thanks for your work on the Avenue and Road curves, I love and use them only because they have the SMP Sandstone texture!  ;D )

Jayson

I stand to be corrected, but I just checked it and believe it is 0x251c1000.

Andreas would perhaps know better :P

I thought that IID looked odd for SFBT....its a Maxis texture. Are you sure that's the one?

Jayson

Andreas

The only "SFBT Grass Texture" that I am aware of is a texture that I used on the SFBT Garbage Shipping Yard, but that one was created by PEG a very long time ago, if I'm not mistaken. I think I got it from Jan (Swamper77) back then when I was creating the lot, since I was looking for a grass texture that blends well with the Maxis terrain. Needless to say, this one has a completely different ID, and the one Jayson mentioned is indeed a Maxis texture.

I'm wondering if you are actually looking for 0x35EA4150? That is actually a BSC texture(vol.2) , but it is used on the SFBT Railway Set Freight Car Sidings.

Let me know!

Jayson

I saw a number of textures that look the same, but that one was used on the SFBT cantanery lots. I think they're all the same but will have to confirm with Andreas. :)

The SFBT catenary lots have transparent base textures, not sure what you're talking about here.

Doh! that's correct! LOL! I am sorry! :P I added that texture myself and have completely forgotten about that!  :-[

I know that they match - in my view anyway - but I would naturally suggest that you listen to Andreas' recommendation in this regard :P

Thanks for clarifying Andreas! And sorry for the confusion!  :(

Well,I'm still confused! ()what() Do you want them done in the Maxis grass or is there another texture?

Sorry for the confusion, but as stated, I believe it best to use the SFBT texture used on the railyard lots.

I really apologise for the inconvenience.

No problem! I should have them to you sometime this weekend...don't have a lot of modding time right now.

Since I'm already gonna be in Photoshop....does anyone else have any requests?

Jayson

sithlrd98

Just to be absolutely sure...is the texture you want?

This is 0x35EA4150 from BSC texture(vol.2).
